Great position to be in after any crappy season.

The Lakers can have 3 studs on rookie contracts and a whole ton of cap space for a rebuild. (Big free agency this offseason. We got to get someone to help draw free agents when everyone else has cap space in 2016 with the huge cap increase.)

Smart predatory move right here.... We can really parlay this into something SICK

Then use #3 to pick up Russell... I like.

Lol Philly would not do that unless we draft Russell at 2. They want Russell

Yeah wishful thinking on my part. They already have Embiid and Noels.

Agreed. They are rumoured to want out. Sounds perfect.

Or trade the 27th and 34th plus next year's first rounder for their number 4.

Then sign and trade Hill for a second rounder next year.

And follow that up with a Young trade also. Acquire picks for next year.

LMAO, Towns and Okafor agents will both be pressuring Minny to take one or the other. It will be a slugfest behind closed doors.

I believe this, and Minny has a much stronger core right now, but I think that is just the Lakers.

We take Russel a 2 ... you don't pass up a chance to get the what could turn out to be next Steph Curry, who I think is the best player in the NBA. Russell has no apparent weakness whereas the 2 bigs have weakness that you HOPE they can iron out. The we get Russell Westbrook in a couple of years to make a Russell-Russell back court, with Clarkson coming off the bench. You sign Marc Gasol as a FA and boom, we're back baby.

The idea that Russell has no weaknesses is crazy.

Just a reminder that the Lakers pick still goes to Philly next year if it's not top-3.

You forgot to mention the other reason.

- Lakers save over $500K in cap space going 2nd instead of 1st.

Exactly....Philly does not need another big. Or, trade the #2 pick to Sacramento for Boogie Cousins.

Not to mention a Cap thats about to jump to 90-100M. Hope all the haters got their licks in.

Guys, we got that piece now to attract FA's his name is Towns/Okafor. Things are definitely looking up in Laker-Land.
