Maybe we will have a big 4 or 5? I think I would hold off until we see that the pick isn't traded and who we draft before making any comparisons.

I'd say right now, on paper, maybe 5th with the potential to move ahead in a few years if everything pans out

Warriors
Pelicans
Thunder
Wizards
Lakers

I'd put us below the sixers too. Especially with Russell likely there.

I would compare our 3 to younger big 3's in the league. OKC and GS are experience and proven

Yeah this thread is all wrong with guys like Durant, Westbrook, Rubio, Curry, Jennings, and a couple of others who have been in the league for a while now.

We should be comparing our 3 young guys, 1 who we still don't even have, to other 3 young guys maybe 1 or 2 years into the league at most. That would be a better comparison.

Lakers: Randle, Clarkson, Towns/Okafor
Philly: Embiid, Noel, Russell
Bucks: Parker, MCW, Giannis
Jazz: Gobert, Exum, whoever they pick this year
Minny: Wiggins, LaVine, Dieng, Towns/Okafor
Orlando: Gordon, Payton, Oladipo, whoever they pick this year

Without sounding like a homer.. if thats the case.. I choose the Lakers lol. If there's ANY team I would put them behind.. it'd be the Bucks.. but that's by a narrow margin.

We're looking good. Minny might be better though I don't think highly of LaVine. Bucks not sure, MCW is really nothing special. Philly looks good too but they won't do anything with their guys, heck I'm expecting all of them to get traded for even more picks.

Okafor and Randle has the potential to be the best front court since Duncan and Robinson. Throw in Clarkson and only OKC and Warriors have a better big 3. Eventually, Okafor/Randle will be too much for teams once those two hit their prime.

Wash, rinse, repeat with the Sixers. I suppose they lucked out as they have a shot at D'Angelo Russell to replace MCW.. but it isn't like D'Angelo Russell is an absolute sure thing.

Russell has a lot of flash to his game.. I hope it translates to the NBA.

I really want to play Philly in summer league. Clarkson vs Russell, Randle vs Noel, Okafor/Towns vs Embiid. It's gonna be GOOD.

I think depending on the outcome of the player we land with our #2pick & what other players we get in the draft & free agency we might right there with Philly & Minny. We can still get a very good young player in FA & maybe a good player with our #27pick.

If Clarkson is part of a Big Three, the concept is meaningless. He's merely just another NBA player so far. Big Three used to imply more.

Thread should have been comparing young guys with none to 2 years of experience. Adding Durant, Curry, Westbrook, among others was just dumb.

What young Laker Big 3? The game is played on the floor not a piece of paper.

If it was then Kobe, Pau, Dwight, and Nash would be fighting for ring #3

This will be controversial, but I would rank Clarkson-Randle-Okafor behind the guys on your list who have already won MVP awards

I think GS's big 3 would include Green instead of Barnes, if you're into ranking 3's rather than teams. It's far to early for LA, check back in here in a few months and lets celebrate a big FA land.

Yeah I guess making all Rookie first team means he's just another player.

Did you even watch the kid? He was one of the best point guards in the league the second half of the season.

Big 3? I think we're WAY ahead of ourselves.

Clarkson balled, but the all-rookie 1st team is relative to just rookies, not the entire NBA.
