It was a great feeling, haven't had anything to cheer about for a long time. _________________ The journey to 17 begins... |

Once Denver was revealed at 7, I breathed easier, since I knew we were then safe. Even if Sac-town had jumped into the lottery from 6, the worst thing for us would've been that we got the #5 pick. I was so worried we were going to lose the pick, that was my first concern. Then when we weren't shown at 5, I figured there was a great chance we have moved up to the top 3, since the least likely scenario was always staying at 4.
What an awesome feeling it was when the Knicks were shown at 4! And then to move to 2, what a big win. |

I was the same way. Counting down to 5 was nerve wracking... and then when we got the top 3... my wife thought I was going insane. _________________

I tried to look at the guy's face to see if I could read anything in to it. Not so much as whether I could read he'd say Lakers, but more, is he going to announce it in a different way knowing it would shock people.
So stupid, but I did try to do that. Haha. |
