would you trade the #2 #27 #34 for embid and #3? then you take russell knowing philly takes a big with 2?
or #2 #27 and youngs contract for #4, hardaway jr and a 2016 future 1st from the knicks? or just hold the #2

I think this may be traded to the NBA draft thread.

If Philly traded us the 3rd pick + an extra draft pick (or two) AND I knew they would pick Okafor with the 2nd pick... leaving us to draft Russell... I would make that trade.

Okafor will work best in the Triangle Offense. Phil knows this and would be willing to make an offer for the Lakers pick. Unfortunately, if the Lakers slide back to the 4th spot, they will lose Russell to Philly. So there is no real deal here.

Why would Philly trade us Embiid for two late draft picks?

He said the two picks AND the #2.

I think it's an interesting prospect to try and get two young, potential impact players instead of one. Embiid's a more exciting prospect to me because of his defensive prowess and higher ceiling but the type of injuries he's suffered before subjecting his body to the rigors of a single NBA season are downright scary.

Certainly the Sixers have the same concerns about Embiid's future and, even if he is able to play this season, pairing a polished offensive player like Okafor with hyper-athletic defensive fly swatter like Noel might be better balance than pairing Embiid and Noel.

We trade the #2, #27, #34 for Embiid and our pick back? So #27 and #34 for Embiid? I am waiting in line for that pipe..

If OP is talking about trading for #3, it's still an opium pipe dream.

How but we do not do a trade and just draft the one of the best bigs in the draft and get some prime free agents to sign in the off season. I hate all teams and do not want to do anything with them if possible.
