kobe/brown/ Danny Green $10M

8 players, 4 active spots, 3 inactive spots.
lots of money
2 draft picks

-prob need a veteran backup PG
-prob need a starting wing
-prob need vet backup PF/C

how would fill in at least those 3 gaps?

Realistically: Christmas, Star Wars, Love 19 mill, Rondo 4 mill, Wes Johnson with the exception.

Hopefully: Trade Nick Young, trade two picks for Justin Anderson, LMA, Carroll or Afflalo, room exception to a backup PG not sure who.

I don't want Kevin Love as long as we are set with Randle and Black on the roster.

I would rather spend the money on a free agent Center to help stabilize our interior defense and grab rebounds.

For the right price absolutely.

we have to start looking beyond Kobe who is on a retirement tour next year. One of the biggest needs will be an elite level triple threat perimeter player that we need to start planning for now. Clarkson was a nice surprise but he still has more growing to do to be the featured perimeter player on a championship contender.

Overpay DeMarre Carroll. Right now, the biggest hole in the starting line-up is sf. We don't need a superstar, just a guy who knows his role and plays good defense.

Draymond Green and Tobias Hatris will make me very happy. Jimmy Butler is a pipe dream.

Can Randle play Sf??? If so those three would be a deadly offensive presence, but they would lack on D.

Never liked Mo Williams, feel like he would take shots away from the young bigs. Prefer Aaron Brooks. Feel like although he doesn't fill a stat sheet with assists, he would be cheaper than Mo and run a system better. Mo and Kobe and Nick on the court RANDLE and Okafor may never touch the ball

Would it be crazy if we drafted Towns and have him play PF, move Julius to SF, with DeAndre as our center?

A SF is a must

I'd love young guys like

KJ McDaniels
Corey Joesph

I also wouldn't mind Javale McGee to be high energy shot blocking off the bench.

Trade 27 and 34 to move up 3-4 spots and draft Justin Anderson

Clarkson - Joesph
Kobe - Brown
McDaniels - Anderson
Davis - Oakfor - Kelly
Oakfor - McGee - Black

What I think is a high possibility is signing Kevin Love and Rajon Rondo

Let's say we don't get an all star FA.
Carroll or Danny Green for SF.
Brooks or Mo for a PG off the bench.
McGee if he accepts short money.
Draft Okafor and a SF.
Re-sign with Black and Davis.

Clarkson/ Brooks or Mo
Kobe/ Nick/ Jabari Brown
Carroll or Green/ SF drafted
Randle/ Black / Davis
Okafor/ McGee/ Sacre

I like the way u think Genaro...the only change I would make if we don't get Carroll I would sign Gerald Green instead of Danny Green cuz I think Danny will be asking upwards of $10 million a year.

why is no one mentioning wesley matthews hes coming off of an injury but he will be primarily a spot up shooter so a torn ACL wont affect him that much. but being his age and his usage we could get him as a bargain.

If we can get Wes Matthews, Demare Carroll, draft one of the two bigs that are available. Get a athletic wing or athletic big man by trading up in the draft. That would be ideal. Resign ed davis with the hometown discount. resign the young talent we had this past year. and then sign some bench players like KJ McDaniels or similar.

clarkson/brown
kobe/matthews
carroll/young
randle/black
okafor/davis

Lakers have a blank canvas right now and I want them to build a defensive team, atleast upfront because winning is going to require stops.

That is why I want to draft Towns. If that happens, we go hard after Deandre Jordan. 2 big defensive players upfront. Jordan plays inside and Towns has outside game.

C - Jordan
PF - Towns
SF - Randle
SG - Kobe
PG - Clarkson

If we draft Okafor to play inside, I'd go hard after LaMarcus Aldridge and his outside game.

C - Okafor
PF - Aldridge
SF - Randle
SG - Kobe
PG - Clarkson

Summer 2016 use Kobe's expiring $25 million to build a deep bench.
