In the 2006 Western Conference? No. In the 2015 Western conference? No. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

Would definitely have a shot in this year's (bleep) East though. |

No way. The 2096 Kobe definitely would have left the league to play in Turkey had the Lakers drafted Okafor or Towns. |

Clarkson/Prime Kobe/Randle/Okafor is not nearly enough to touch GSW. Their starting lineup is crazy from top to bottom then they got a solid bench. |

Title contenders in the present or in 06? I do know that with Towns/Okafor in place of oft-injured Drew, we definitely have enough to get past the Suns and then all bets are off. Don't forget we also have a prime LukeIQ to facilitate And Phils triangle.. |

That's a repeater team in the East. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

Both Towns and Okafor need nba polishing. |
I would say Okafor is extremely polished and is coming to the NBA with possibly the best post game in the league... the guy was swarmed with defenders his entire career at Duke and was still the top finisher in the nation. I don't see why Okafor can't have a Duncan like impact. He was just the best player on his team as a freshmen and won a national title, that speaks to something. |
Duncan spent 4 years in college. 3 years from now, it would still be amazing if Okafor leads his team to an NBA title. But as a 19 year old rookie? |

no offense to OP but this thread is silly. first of all, the possibility of this being happen is never, secondly, we haven't seen Okafor and Towns play one minute of NBA ball yet, they could very well turn into two busts for all i know. |

1 full season in the NBA is good for Okafor to catch 2 years in college.
If he is doing well, by second season he will start doing some damages.
Same with Towns and Randle.
How well they grow, will probably affect a relatively healthy Kobe's decision to retire or not. IMHO. _________________ Kobe's Top 5 Dunks, 81 points, MJ last gm @Staples |
