Awww, that sucks!
Where are you gonna be DB? |
Doing about 55 miles of the John Muir Trail again this summer. Internet connection will be spotty at best. |
I'll be reporting live from the scene, jefe! Already got my tix! |
I'm regretting not being right there next to you and Mike, if he goes. This should be an epic summer league. It's a great atmosphere and it's been too long since I've been out to Vegas to watch. |

The last summer league that I went to in person was at the good ol' Long Beach Pyramid in '96. I'm hoping this one goes as well as that did, both now and going forward.
We'll keep a seat warm for you if plans change, DB. |

I'd assume Jabari Brown will be there as well. That team's gonna be ridiculous. |

Have you guys thought about the fact that most likely it will be Towns vs Okafor - their first NBA game will be against each other!
What a start of a rivalry of two bigs ! If they turn out like we hope, what a start to their career, facing off against each other in their first game. And in 20 years, they play each other in the NBA finals in their last game _________________ Kobe |

Yep. It'll probably be Lakers and Minnesota in the summer league championship. With a Jordan Clarkson game winner |

I would not be surprised at all if five years from now the Western Conference belongs to the Lakers and Wolves. Maybe we'll look back on that first summer league game as the start of something big. |

I think Utah has a chance to be in the mix depending on how Exum develops and who they draft this year. |

Awful work schedule. It would help if it was a back to back with 2 mid-day games. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

That must mean Randle is looking healthy. I know Mitch wasn't pushing the idea of him playing in summer league during his exit interview. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

Are you and Mike gonna do some write-ups for LG? Give us some insider info.
I'm always interested in the "behind the scenes" info you can only get by being there and watching the players/coaches on the bench. The rest of us will be stuck watching NBATV infomercials during the timeout breaks. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better” |

I'm very fortunate to be self-employed these days, and able to drop everything to geek out in Vegas for a few days. I'll be there for each of those games from 7/10-13 and will come back Monday night. |

I will definitely do some write-ups and some sleuthing. Sit next to a GM and offer him some of my nachos or something. |

I'm heading to Vegas, I think. Hopefully it isn't too crazy, but I think it's going to be a great time. Going to see if I can clear my schedule. |

OR.. Towns vs Russell. I feel like D'Angelo hasn't been represented in this thread. |
