I could imagine LeBron coming here for a short-term deal to get his last big contract next summer when the cap rises like a volcano.

That dude is not leaving the East. I know he said he'd rather miss the playoffs than lose in the finals, but no one actually believes him. It'd take some extreme circumstances for him to leave Cleveland and the comfort of the eastern conference. He'll be there for at least one more season.
