Thanks for the support, brother!

I never make stuff up... I hear it or read it then I try to see if others can confirm.

No thanks.

1) Lebron in the west means a dismal shot at the finals. You think he wants to face a 50 win team in the first round, as opposed to getting 1st and 2nd round byes in the east?

2) Cavs are a lock to make the finals as long as Silver keeps the same format. The east is just terrible.

3) We need a certified winner... not a black hole on offense.

I disagree.

and I don't think LeBron minds coming to L.A. especially with the huge cap jump next summer a lot of stars might be lining up to come to L.A. which is why Jimmy Butler and his camp are hoping for a offer sheet from the Lakers and a great interest to play in the L.A. market.

I wonder how long Lebron will wait until he signs with the Cavs again though. Definitely wait until the Love situation is handled, but also maybe Tristan Thompson's contract? He shouldn't be in any hurry.

Not sure angrypuppy I'm just excited that there is at least some percentage of chance of Lebron coming here and finishing his career in LA.

If LeBron even gives a hint, Jimmy will jump into his lap and start licking his face.

LeBron/Butler would be the best off season in NBA history not to mention a franchise player in the draft.

Lebron is more likely to come to us this offseason than Jimmy Butler is (since Chicago will match any offer).
So this thread doesn't bother me as much as the Butler one.

Not impossible, Lakers should have cap to bring Durant next and young pieces to contend for years.

I agree with kikanga.

The door is open for LeBron to come to L.A as long he's interested not so much for butler but getting both would be a Joker wild move by the FO.

Not to sound like a jerk, but I'm afraid that your grandma would be a defensive liability with Okafor on the court. Can she hit the 3?

So if LeBron wanted to sign with the Lakers, even though that's not going to happen, you say ... Nah, we gonna roll with Wesley Johnson.

she plays better perimeter defense than Kobe, but that doesn't mean much nowadays

Hell, let's bring her in for a workout with Mudiay.

Not sure this should have gone to the FA thread... if what SAS is saying is true... then the landscape changes for the Lakers.... this deserves it's own thread as long as SAS isn't pulling any BS crap...

Why would this not belong in the FA thread?

Just like your Okafor thread that should've been in the Draft thread.

maybe NEXT offseason, maybe if kyrie went down again this coming season and they let Thompson and love walk...

and they got swept in the first round

and kobe retired

and okafor won rookie of the year

and Clarkson and randle were solid

and we made it to the finals or western conference finals...

THEN I could possibly believe this rumor... but right now?... THIS offseason?!

Stephen A is just looking for clicks... that's all...

LeBron is best friends with Melo, so that would most likely keep him in the east.
