DLo did a good job contesting Klay while he was on him. Klay was 1/8 shooting and the one make was a contested shot too.

BUUUUT you can't stop Tank Commander. 3rd quarter when Lou came in he stuck him on Klay. Granted the game started getting away but Klay went 2/4 and looked more comfortable.

Overall poised effort to start the game for him. Other than Julius and DLo the team looked the frantic mess tonight.

Sadly we'll have to keep hoping Byron gives up on his 'useless' offensive sets and giving Kobe touches to initiate the offense or the rest of the season is going to be even more brutal to watch then it has been now.

Russell looking good today.

He is scoring well. No way zero assists is good for a PG

When he passes you complain about him not scoring. When he's scoring you complain about him not passing. Sheesh. Oh it's just complaining. Gotcha.

If a PG just pass he is a K.Marshall. If he cannot generate any offense he is not a PG, maybe a good SG with passing skills. If you think it's fine ok

just a curious question, with Curry, arguably the best player in the game right now, being mentored by Nash... who's mentoring Russell? Nash would've been so valuable for Russell's growth...

Nash just came on board this season. I can assure you guys, Curry isn't being mentored by anyone at this point in his career. A tip here and there at most.

Dlo bashers will think he's guarding the PG when he's been on the SG for the most part all season (and doing a damn good job of it most of the time).

Yeah, the Curry being mentored by Nash stuff is overblown. He was already better than Nash ever was. What more could Nash possibly teach him?

But he's the guy across from him in the box score.

Yeah they usually start him on the slower guard... I mean JC was getting roasted all over the court out there in the 1st half and honestly I think that messed with his head more than anything. He struggled on the game 2/11 shooting. Haven't seen him taken back like that since his first matchup last year vs. the Clippers and CP3.

DLO hung with Steph in that 3rd period stretch but what are you going to do when it's Steph and he's making those fancy layups.

Nah, Dlo played Klay well to start the game. Klay was 0-6 to start before Dlo got put on ice.

He was doing good till that 3rd qt Kobe chucking barrage. Everyone just watched or forced it to him. These young guys have to wave him off eventually.

It's pretty depressing how few opportunities Russell gets in the half court. So many possessions with an initiation pass, never to get it back.

Yah. Notice how Steph, on multiple occasions, starts the offensive possessions bringing the ball up, and after a series of passes, ends up with it back in his hands for a corner 3.

Had a many points as Kobe & Clarkson combined tonight, on TWENTY-TWO fewer possessions used.

The ball is definitely not finding energy right now.

I'm going out on a limb - I really don't see Randle Clarkson and DLo being the future. At least not for 3+ more years, its going to take time, growing pains, a 1st round playoff exit or two before you really figure out if they will be franchise players on this roster, with the chemistry they've built ... so far.

Goal #1 should be kicking the Clippers off their high perch, on the regular.
