Umm... Kobe's pursuing other ventures now. He's 99% done with basketball. I'm sure he passed on whatever he needed to pass to the kids (no pun intended).
I thought he was the one that suggested them coming to him? At least that's what I had thought I read.

I'll see you dudes at 2:15pm, and hope you understand.

I got the ban, I thought it was in jest. Like my post was. Didn't make the Dave/Clarkson connection.
Just wanted to shine light on (1) the all rookie team voting is flawed and (2) not all draft classes are equal.

Dude, it's all good. You guys are my boys. I hope you understand how played out the Dave/Clarkson thing is. And frankly, he's not the one who brings it up most of the time anymore.

I feel where you are coming from. You could've banned me for a month and you'd still be my boy.
Now 24...that's a whole different story. I'm ready to meet that guy in Temecula right now!

So when are you getting here?

I think he'll drop by occasionally to help them out. We won't know until it's confirmed.

I'm waiting for Kobe drop by one day and have his post-retirement Jordan moment with the young guns:

Lol nice video. Yeah, I think Kobe can still get it done. Especially if it isn't a full game. I am glad that they all seem to be working out though. And going to the USA summer team would be great for them.

Were you in that video saying or doing something incriminating?

I imagine not very. D'LO is an internet punchline but I doubt FAs will care enough to not want to come here. Dude still has to ball out though.

I'm hoping dlo improves his handles haven't seen anything spectacular from him yet. But I will admit he did seem to get where he wanted to on his shots would like to see him break the defense down more and not just settle for the midrange jumper.

It's probably a positive. It will keep all the immature players away.

On the list of Lakers problems, Nick Young isn't too high on the list.
This upcoming free agency is something worth worrying about for Lakers fans.

The people who make a big deal out of the D'Angelo situation are just perpetuating the narrative. It's not a big deal. He didn't kill anyone or break the law. He did not even get suspended for it. Next year, people will hardly remember it.

People are really still on this garbage, blown out of proportion story. Russell made a mistake, he accepted it and he moved on, it's over.

People are making the mistake of thinking that just because they're not being told about it or shown that it's happening, that means it's not happening.

There have been lots of guys that have gone to and gotten help from Kobe and we always find out about it well after the fact.

Most everyone worried about Dlo's video is probably over 30. Kids these days is all about the snapchat, instagram and youtube and what we're freaking out is already deleted from their brain drive. Us harping on it reminds me of how rock and roll was once the devils music or that NWA was a bad influence.

Should Lakers hand the key over to Dlo regardless who we draft or sign and let him be the #1 option on this team. Or is it too soon? Rather we need to let him be the primary ball handler and dictate what the defense gives him. I feel like with more weapons on the floor Dlo will be a more lethal scorer and passer. After all OH state succeeded with being the focal pt of the offense.

DLO is a very skilled player and should have a huge role. Whether he's 1A or 1B is really a mute point at 20 years old. I really hope the Lakers get Ingram and then sign what fits better than trying for the homerun. Derozan and some solid rotation guys and I'll be set. DLO will have many many more opportunities this season to shine and I'm confident he will.
