I'm taking the vid down for like 45mins, fixing an Anthony Brown video. going to make my thread in the general basketball section. I'll also post the vid in Anthony Brown's thread. And post the link here too. All of the 80 people who watched the vid already thank you and watch it again, cuz it's gotta look legit sending it to these players and coaches
I just clicked it and was like, it's down?!! KIROE!!!

That was good on how your hair can eff up your form! Never thought about that. All you need now is some kind of music/sound in the vid

it makes sense!
but the music, i feel like it'd be too distracting with all of the writing - but that's a couple clamors for it so I have to think about it

Music can definitely be annoying/distracting in those types of vids, see the DX vids from last year and before lol, but they can also add to the content (see GT's vids)
Most people watching have low attention spans so music helps

One of Kobe's sneaky fundamental advantages is that he used every inch of his length to get his shot release point as high as possible. Was a key to his (and Jordan's) fade away. But he also used it on all his shots which gave him more 'space' to shoot on a closeout.
With guys as tall and long as Ingram the highest most release point probably requires the defender to be attached to contest a shot whereas a closeout wouldn't obstruct the shot. Huge 'gravity' implications (in addition to release speed and quick ups). _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.

Proof that Brandon Ingram needs a haircut
Former Yankees owner George Steinbrenner always made every player get short haircuts. When Damon went from very long hair and beard on the Red Sox, he had to shave all that off when he signed with the Yankees.

Ya Kobes release and elevation are a combo that is rarest of the rare. Jordan, Kobe, tmac are the only guys with that combo in the past 2 decades. Durant chooses not to elevate as high on his J(takes a lot of motor) but can shoot over anyone anyways because he is 6'11 with a high release
It would be interesting to see Ingram vs NBA close-out speed and length - an example I can think of is how Kelly's % dropped at the 3, and he mentioned he needed to quicken his release because they close faster
I think Ingram would naturally evolve into a nice pull-up game if he had an above the head release.. That's the single biggest differentiating factor between the two, the pull-up game.
James Harden was the third overall pick. He was an All-American at Arizona State, all Pac-10 both years there and won Pac-10 Player of the Year as a sophomore. He averaged over 20 points a game, was one of the best one-on-one scorers in the country and at the time, appeared to be the perfect pick for the Thunder at No. 3.
I’m not saying he isn’t or won’t be. But right now, Oklahoma City isn’t getting the kind of production it had in mind from Harden. He’s averaging more minutes than last year (25.3), but fewer points (8.2), assists (1.4) and his field goal percentage is way down (36.4). His PER is an anemic 10.5.
Look at what he did late last season, in summer league and in the preseason. He appeared ready to breakout. But he’s struggled some early, much like the rest of the team. So, what’s up?

Bravo Makes sense
Nice. Never even thought of that. Russell and Ingram need haircuts. Randle has short hair, he just can't shoot.
Proof, yet again, that the mullet is the best haircut ever. No need to alter the shot pocket if you're all business up front. Keep the party in the back. _________________ “This goes far beyond paychecks”

Nice. I did not know a lot of that about shooting form. But I do know hair so I have a question; hair moves LOL it's not cement. Why can't they just do the normal shooting motion?

Ray Allen had a perfect release. Good lift, high release point, lightening fast. Penny had a great release point too. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night.
