Russell seems to have learned Kobe's backdown power move. Throwing that shoulder right into the opponents chest with emphasis to create space. I like it. |

Competition was very poor in that game, but I definitely liked what I saw - nice shooting, driving, post-ups...tight handles, etc. Summer league is gonna be fun. |

fye. love the Harden extensions in the lane, despite the competition. |
Four Harden comparisons on one page.
I'll add another one. He's turning into a big physical guard, which is not something we thought of when he was first drafted. |
In a couple years he could be really strong.. Not something we expected, but he was just on a physical trajectory that is more common for a regular kid than an athlete - and that's not horrible. A lot of athletes appear physically primed at 20, while DLo will around the time of graduating college. 22-23 he could be very strong, his legs will catch up to his upper body and he could be a beast on the court
Upper body he has great genes anyway, not the skinny man type |

People were really wrapped up on Mudiay's size cause he looked grown despite his age and Russell to them looked like a kid size in comparison.
But the scary fact of the matter is "small" Russell was still 197 pounds.. so.. when he grows into his man body he could be a 215-220 pound point guard. |

Yeah. He's gonna turn himself into a slow-footed fancy passer with all that bulk. |

Russell needs to get stronger no question. That won't make him slower, it will make him faster. _________________ Austin Reaves keeps his game tight, like Kobe Bryant on game night. |

Lets say d'angelo would of been on this past draft, and that video is the only footage of d'angelo playing. No work outs, no college game just that video. Where would he be drafted? |

Sad that the DANGERUSS trademark has been taken away by Russell Wilson. _________________ I was an atheist, until I knew Kobe.

Better comp for DLo in the future: Harden or Ginobili? _________________ "Chick lived and breathed Lakers basketball…but he was also fair and objective and called every game the way it was played."

D'Angelo had a shot at #1 in this past draft. Simmons prob hype wins out but his numbers and play were far more impressive than Ingram.
5 is laughable |

hmm. The Harden similarities will continue to unveil, he's going to add that arm extension through the lane with the long two steps, drawing fouls // and probably step-backs too.
Scoring the ball, the Harden comparison will be probably be closest. But I think he'll pass the ball completely different. He'll give up the ball earlier on possessions, more like a true point. I can see a Harden/White Chocolate mix. |

That quick dribble move to me was the move I liked the most.
It looks like a move he's also been drilling a lot of, so he pulled it out here to try it. I think that's been a move he's been working on a lot this off-season.
The quickness with which he did it was great as well. |
