It would be stellar if Randle could be a strong playmaker for this team but I fear his capacity in that regard is somwhat exaggerated. Maybe once he fixed the shooting hole he will be balanced enough to do more.
When there's proper off ball movement anf screens Randle can usually find someone open. It's obviously an area of his game. He got a triple double for a reason.
He got a triple double in Byron Scott's Flippin offense..

Jason Kidd was a great defender for a big point guard. He wasn't quick but he was effective defending small guards and posted them up on the other end. He could guard big guards as well. Very versatile defender. I hope DLO watches some game tape of him on d. He needs to step it up.

Might wanna take another look at how he got most of his assists that game.. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

He had better passing games.. You're sleep on his passing! That game was super simple passes, yes
Lol..I agree that he's shown flashes. He had a nice lob to JC in the triple double game. He had a sick euro step bounce to Bass I think in another game. And then he had this bounce pass off a back cut that was a straight dime in a game I can't remember. As the season went on he showed more awareness of when he was drawing defenders off the drive. I think he can really excel as a passer in the fast break also. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."

That's the one! Ball just kinda disappeared and then materialized in Lou's hand, it was so on point. Should be seeing a lot more of that with an actual offense this year. _________________ It was reminiscent of one of those Most Interesting Man in the World advertisements: "I don't always shoot 6-for-28 from the field, but when I do, I become the youngest player in league history to score 28,000 career points."
Should be like 83-84 MAX if we're comparing it to DLO being a 79.
But I guess it doesn't really matter. Just a video game
I think it's reasonable? Towns was really damn good last year, and it's fair to predict him to improve anymore.
They are also predicting Russell to improve, but he needs to prove that he's in the same level of all-star in the near future.
I think it is reasonable for Towns to be that high. This guy is going to be the top 5 pick for fantasy basketball. At the same time, DLO should be higher though.
IMO Russels in the toughest position over the next 3-4 seasons (and let's not be Houston fans who were anticipated to win a back-to-back by now when they signed DH). in those seasons our highest goal is the second round.
Now for DLO, it's not so much his stats. Everyone remember that preseason where Nash actually played Sacre onto the roster?
DLO in 3 seasons needs to play a couple guys OFF the team. If he does that then he will be the guy another "franchise" guy or all-star would want to join. If he doesn't, he will play himself OFF the team.
Might not have explained that correctly, but he's in a very perplexing situation IMO. _________________ KOBE!!!

Yeah by finding his teammates in the best position to score or wide open. You know, the way most high assist or triple double games happen.
Or is this one of those "well his triple double doesn't count cause he was passing it to wide open guys who made the shot" situations...
