I really hope that he retires as a Laker

+1

If I'm the coach I'd start him or Deng at PF.

Dlo, Young, Ingram, Nance, Zubac. More spacing, better defense. better ball movement, better chemistry.

I don't think Luke will ever bring Randle off the bench. But Nance is the better player and better fit imo.

Super good game from Larry Nance, hopefully once we are winning games in the near future he can emulate some of the past Laker legends like Kurt Rambis, that can be vital in terms of him helping us.

Nice game from Nance tonight, he put them in a good position to win with his hustle down the stretch, but guys couldn't hit shots.

In the lakerfilmroom.com podcast, GT and Darius speculate that our 6 "young core" members will NOT all be here when a championship caliber team is finally built. I agree. It would have been cool to see Eddie Jones and NVE win some rings with Kobe and Shaq, but sometimes there are fit issues and key players are traded away for others, and some players are sacrificed so others can reach their full potential.

So I don't know how that Nance/Randle issue will work out, but as fans we should probably be prepared to see one of them on a different team in a few years.

18 points w/ 11 rebounds
Great all-around game by Larry!
Glad to see him rounding back into form after the injury.

The most impressive thing I saw from Larry was how he battled Harford on defense. I want him to start at the 4, he's the best forward on our roster.

definitely a player a coach like Pop would be rubbing his hands to develop. deep down i feel like that's the team Nance should be on

What the hell kinda self loathing is going on in here . Wishing San Antonio upon Larry? Good grief. This is why we can't have nice things.

I've given up on him starting. I just hope he get 25+ minutes a game from here on out. Zubac and him can make a nice front court along with Ingram.

The last time we had a young core during the lottery era (Jones, Van Exel, Campbell, etc) none of them were on the team when we were ready to win championships.

As for Larry, a couple of nice games after a real stinker, that is great to see. I would definitely monitor his health, he might be one of those guys you only have for 60-70 games a season.

You mean like Randle who played 1 game his first season and 60 his second? Your bias is real, embrace it.

I hope he locks himself in the gym until he gains the confidence of Dirk in his shot.
