Good game by Larry, he started out guarding Griffin decently. Blake took him to school in the 3rd, though. Overall nice game.

good game from Nance tonight. The cause and effect of it, painted a picture of how bad our offense was tonight.

The only offensive opportunities we got were Nance on the clean ups, and Lopez on the iso. When you put that into perspective, it's not hard to see why we lost.

Nonetheless, Nance did what he was supposed to do tonight with the opportunities that presented themselves, it's not his fault that every other shot someone took was a miss and we looked like a team that only trained on fast breaks.

Luke's philosophy of not needing a half court set is great for hustle guys like Nance. Bad for the team offense as a whole.

Nance played very well tonight. His best game so far of the preseason/season.

He's a winning basketball player. If he ever developed a jumper, he'd be a good 5th man on a playoff team.

Blake is an MVP level player. Thought Nance did well against him considering. Problem is the team defense wasn't there, especially when Ingram was one pass away.

I agree but he is starting, he needs to be expected to guard starting players. For the record, Randle is a favorite of mine but I believe that playing Nance with Lopez is the correct move.

Nance does a lot of things a team needs. But can't shoot a lick. His form and release are not that of a guy that will ever be a shooter. He's a very good guy to come off the bench... but he's our starter. We are better off playing him than rolling the dice on playing Randle, a guy who won't even watch where he's dribbling or passing if he gets a rebound. Hey, look at me, I got a rebound, now threw it away cuz I think it's cool to play lackadaisical.

Jeebuz, Randle is out there without a brain or care. Seemingly just happy he was drafted high by the Lakers and that is good enough for him. Low to no IQ player with short arms/frame and no brain to play the game with any kind of positive consistency, effort or contribution. Also completely one-handed. He is "strong" and can be tough, but without bball IQ and since he makes so many mistakes, bone headed plays, and can't shoot a lick from the line or the field, he's a long-term net negative on the court.

Sigh.

Larry is easy to root for. Brings it on both ends and makes the right plays. Perfect glue guy on a winning team.

When will we learn? See also a player's sudden improvement in late March and April on bad teams.

Does Nance already have more lobs than he did entirely last season? Serious question!

Awesome second half.
