Aaron Gordon, Victor Oladipo and Larry Nance Jr. along with Dennis Smith Jr. (as reported by @ShamsCharania) have accepted their invitations to the 2018 NBA Dunk Contest, a league source tells me. |

At least we get 1 all star (participant)...maybe Lonzo (health permitting)/Kuz/BI at the rising stars (or whatever it's called) game. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

Yasss!
Gordon's the obvious favorite, but I'm so happy to see Larry get his shot. This would be the first father/son dunk contest participants, right? |

Seems like the league leaked the info before they made it official with the players first. Pathetic. |

Larry is going to win. Home field advantage. _________________ Nobody in the NBA can touch the Laker brand, which, like the uniform color, is pure gold. |

Nance is a fantastic in-game dunker, but unless he's able to do some thangs with that ball in mid-air, just jumping high and throwing it down is a total snooze-fest. The novelty of bigs competing is gone (Howard) and at least Dee-white was theatrical about it |

I assume Larry is going to use David West as a prop. |

Brook Lopez is on the team, he could be a great prop, help fans relive one of LNJ's best dunks

I wonder if Nance can duplicate Dwight's 12 foot Superman dunk. |

the showmanship, preparation, fans going wild, phone booth...a LOT went into making that dunk what it was, not sure if it would get the same reaction third time around. I still think Dwight's first superman dunk was better...and that may not even qualify as a dunk
maybe he should do an homage to his father, come out wearing short shorts and just rock that cradle |

I want him to do his dad's dunk that won the contest in the 80s... but with a much higher degree of difficulty |

That would be even better. And Anthony Bennett isn't doing anything these days, so he might be willing to show up and have his ankles broken for a few bucks. |

Larry's been playing well since the trade rumors. Loved his game against the Knicks and he played well again tonight. Frustrates me with his lack of touch and he missed a couple of big free throws, but other than that he was rebounding and playing good D, recovering against Horford. |

The little guys seem to get more love in dunk competitions. My guess is DSJ will take it, hope I’m wrong. Lakers fans need to show Larry some home town love. _________________ |

Gary Lance is solid. You never have to worry about his game as a coach and he’s starting to hit the mid range shot consistently when opponents sag. |
