He is in a better place. The more distance between him and Byron the better. I think that all of the Laker's youngsters should be sent down to the D league just to keep them away from that freaking disaster cancer Byron Scott.
BS would be fine without the youth. He could move Kobe to center and maybe have Bass take up the point guard role. I always thought that Sacre would make a great small forward. _________________ R.I.P. Doc Buss |

Might as well send him to the D-League for a while then. |

He absolutely needs to play.
Why recall Brown only to have him wear a suit behind the bench? Either play him or have him continue the d-league games
MWP is good for spot minutes and Nick Young is in the dog house. Kobe at the three clearly isn't working. |

I know he's already been sent to the D-League twice this season for the D-Fenders. Send him back down there as he isn't playing for the Lakers at the moment. |

Anthony will be a victim of the rotation this year it seems.
Kobe and MWP both being gone next year will free up a ton of minutes at SF, so I certainly hope the plan is for him to be the backup SF at the very least going into next season. Ideally MWP gets permabenched here pretty soon and we start "seeing what we have in the youth" like we did last year when it became clear (how it isn't clear already is another story) that we can't compete. _________________ You are either in or on your way to the NBA Finals. |

For all the focus on Byron visa vis Russell's playing time, it's Anthony Brown's situation that's the most damning.
What's the point of playing a guy like Metta over him in a lost season? Who cares if Metta's better right now?! |

Well no one but some fans think that it is a lost season, so the FO reacting like it is likely isn't going to happen. _________________ RIP mom. 11-21-1933 to 6-14-2023. |

I love it, but the lack of rhyme or reason with this season is wearing on me. I am honestly beginning to believe that Byron is in early stages of dementia. And I am not embellishing one bit. I cannot understand how a guy who has absolutely no feel for the game is an NBA coach. Great job there Mitch, Jim and Jeannie.

Doesn't matter.
As Scott has shown with Russell. If it doesn't fit into "his plan" he doesn't care if you look like a star when you start.
Brown could have 20 points tonight and 18 in the next game. He'll go right back to being inactive. Cause Scott wants to 'stick with the lineup for 5 more games."
In all honesty, Brown will probably pick up 2 fouls within the first 5 minutes and go to the bench. Durant's gonna go at him and force him to foul him early cause Brown is a rookie. |

^ tough position for Brown to be in. Going from the D-League to starting overnight is a lot of pressure. The fact that he has to guard Durant as well is pretty cruel. I hope he does well. _________________ "I don’t give a [expletive] what you say.
