no this pick make sense. didn't pass on a franchise changing center here, or draft a rookie who bashed Kobe like a kid

Pace and Space. He might already be the best shooter on the team.

I love this pick. Lights out shooter, Good on D, High IQ player. Local OC guy and lifelong Laker fan. Could be a solid player off the bench at SF. Maybe even a 2nd round surprise starter ala Jordan Clarkson.

So a smart kid and a SF.

And he went to Stanford, what's not to like? As a Stanford alumnus I endorse this pick

Why would you love this pick? this guy spent 5 years in college an had average numbers at best, of course he started to put up decent number his 4th an 5th year in college lol. I believe this was a horrible draft from start to finish, where is Jerry West when you need him.

SB Nation pegged him as one of the top three potential sleeper steals of the draft this morning.

Quote:
If you're looking to find the next Khris Middleton in this year's draft, look no further than Anthony Brown. The Stanford senior is one of the elite spot-up shooters in this class, draining 44.1 percent of his threes. He is excellent at relocating off-ball and shooting on the move, which bodes well for his ability to shoot off screens.

Like Middleton, Brown enters the NBA as an average athlete. But what teams overlooked with Middleton -- effort and basketball IQ -- are the same attributes they will find in Brown.

"I fit in pretty well as a 3-and-D guy," Brown told SB Nation at the combine. "You see a lot of 3-and-D guys today that are pretty successful, whether it's Danny Green or Khris Middleton. That's something I'm definitely hoping to start off on and be right away."

Brown has a deep understanding of who he is as a basketball player, which will only help his career as a role player. In time, Brown could develop in the same way Middleton did to become one of the league's premier 3-and-D wings.

Since Justin Anderson was swiped up by the Mavs at #21, I approve of this pick.

Would be thrilled if he becomes a Danny Green or Khris Middleton type player. Welcome to the Lakers!
