Think the Pelicans would take MWP for Anthony Brown? LOL! The move has been the only stupid thing this new regime has done. It's the very definition of "overthinking."

Or the very definition of "team building".

No disrespect to the young fella, but his shot was bad and for being a defensive specialist he wasn't a very elite defender. Not that MWP is any better at this point, but he brings character and experience to the locker room. Brown looked like Nick Young and Played like Neil Young.

Pels are really bad, this signing shows just how thin their roster is.

You could easily give MWP a coaching gig, and he would suit up for practices and rough up Randle just the same. No need his bruising, clumsy, 37 yrs old, past his prime, basketball stuff in real games.

But it's a blessing in disguise for AB.

I think all the indications show MWP wants to join the Lakers as a player.

You could, but it wouldn't be the same. A teammate is much different than a coach.

Without MWP we wouldn't have the "I love basketball Mantra" AB has only himself to blame for not being able to beat out MWP for a roster spot. I don't care for how he does in New Orleans, he is no longer a Laker.

Go get em AB. Probably deserved to make this team over 3 guys (Marcelo, MWP, TRob)

Brown scored both of his three pointers at the end of the game for the Pelicans against Timerwolves yesterday they already had a 20 point or something lead.

Lol, It would take significant improvement for Brown to become the type of player a seemingly close-to-washed-up Deng is today.

The fact he only gets garbage time on a Pelicans team that has literally no one, tells you all you need to know.

It's befuddling to me how some guys that Lakers fans hated and wanted gone suddenly become overrated and treated like 'can't misses' that the FO just didn't see, when they no longer have "Lakers" across their chest anymore.
