I prefer the Wall/Beal backcourt over the Curry/Thompson frontcourt. Am I crazy? I love the way Wall locks up his position. Beal is also a good defender. Beal has the outside shooting, though, to really complement Wall's penetrating ability.

Either way, looking forward to some Russell/Clarkson. Thanks again for the numbers, GT.

I don't agree, but you're not crazy. It's close. Washington is in a similar position to Golden State last year. A very talented roster that's held back by archaic schemes. And you're welcome.

The singer who wrote that SONG is Mick Jagger. D'Angelo just ripped off the name. And yes, Chronicle is right, the nickname is weak.

The corner 3's are very promising. He'll feast off of Kobe, Clarkson, & Randle's shot creation.

Y'all got to keep in mind that yinoma, like myself, is a bass man. That makes him a groove man. And D'angelo's (the R&B artist) Brown Sugar was one of the grooviest.

That's what I like about him, hes versatile enough to play some offball so he can be effective even without the ball.

In my eyes that pretty much defines him already. He rarely forces things and is a master of letting the game come to him ... and lets all remember he's just 19 and as such are only seeing the tip of the iceberg.

Can you post up Steph and Clay's shot charts like this for comparison?

I think Clarkson will improve his range. His mid-range is already money.

Something to keep in mind is that 56.7% of Russell's shots were contested in college. Part of that is his shot selection and/or inability to get by some guys, but I think the majority of it is a function of his supporting cast. That number will decrease significantly in the NBA, where others can create looks for him, and he won't be the only guy that can get his own shot when the shot clock is winding down.

Clarkson's midrange already seems to be the best of the 4 in GT's shot chart comparison. Very cool.
