My source over the weekend told me the Lakers will be bringing back Farmar for backup PG. Anyone else hearing about this?

If he's willing to play off the bench, why not?

Farmar
Caron Butler
Ariza and other vets added will be a huge boost for this team.. Farmer has always played his best with the Lakers he was just in a unforunate situation with the Lakers during the 2014 season.

I think we could do better than that for a roster spot, but if he comes, I won't complain.

Look at his join date -- it's a long time ago.

Maybe it just took him a long time to write this post and he's just a few years behind?!

Better than Price. As the 3rd string PG this would be fine by me.

We already have two pg's. No use coming back here and pouting any more. Whoever comes to the Lakers should understand they will be behind both JC and D-Lo @ pg.

There is going to be a third PG added to the roster to mentor the young players Likely a vet for a couple of million. Maybe the $2.8 exception.

A lot will depend on what type of player they want to fill the role. Farmar is decent choice. Saw Berrea linked. Mo Williams has been mentioned.

So far Price makes the most sense to me. Hard worker on defense. Professional journeyman that prepares to play every night. Would love that influence in practice.

Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Both Clarkson and Russell need improvement. Maybe a guy like Price can get them to dig in on that side of the court.

You guys do realize we have to fill out our roster right? Stop being over critical pickers. Its either him or an oldvet or dleaguer. As Long as its a cheap 1 year guranteed 2nd year team option then im all for it. Hes had success with us in the past.
