I have not been this excited to see these two kids share a back court since Eddie & Nick. I know it's early but these two kids have huge potential for us. I loved our back court with Nick the quick & fast Eddie. Russell & Clarkson remind me of them both, but I understand that Nick was quicker than Clarkson & Eddie had bigger hops & defense (for now) than Russell but they all have the penetration ability, 3 pt shooting range, passing skills, fast break ability & are very good modest & guys off the court. That 3 million price tag for (Clarkson) draft choice is looking good right now.

I'm looking forward to seeing them both for years to come, unfortunately I want to see them win a championship together unlike past fav's of Eddie & Nick...

if Russel can only grow to be Eddie Jones, then we should've drafted a big man.
i expect him to be at least Manu

Let's assume they turn out to be that good.

That team still couldn't get out of the 1st round of playoffs until Shaq came to town. And it wasn't long before Kobe was the 2nd best player on the squad.

That's false. Their first year together. Sedale was out, so Nick was playing 48 mins a game in that first round against the Sonics, and torched a prime Gary Payton, hitting 7 3's in the clincher and carrying that squad into the second round against the Spurs. One of my fondest Lakers memories that didn't end up in a championship

This

Edie great defender, great player, but used to be MIA in playoffs

Nick was flash, a joy to watch, but not the most efficient player in the world

They can be someday, I like Clarkson and wish Russel can become the special player everybody hope, but it´s way too early to tell.

I find Randle's hype here disturbing, it reminds me the next coming of Michael Jordan called Von Wafer I think a few guys can remember his hype at LG

Yup. The Randle hype-train is unreal. I'm sure he'll be a decent pro, but people are acting like he's some kind of all-star ALREADY. Not saying he doesn't have the potential, but a lot of fans are jumping the gun a bit too early

if that's all they can turn into then drafting Russell was a mistake and we should have went with Okafor.

Too bad NVE isn't playing in today's NBA.
He'd be unbelievable. His game was perfect for pace-and-space.

I say their ceiling is taller Steve Nash/taller Westbrook.

So hell yes they have the potential to be better.

Better than 2 guys who could never show up when it mattered the most? If that's the ceiling than we're in trouble.
