Pretty GOATish

Rookie of the year

19- All star

6- Championships

6- MVP awards

6- All Defensive team

2- NBA scoring champion

4- NBA shot block leader

I could keep going. KAJ did that against some real competition. Chamberlain (a long in the tooth Chamberlain) Nate Thurmond, Bob Lanier, Dave Cowen (who won MVP w/Boston) Artis Gilmore....Kareem GOAT at least so far.

Seriously, doesn't Kobe Bryant to be the GOAT?

What other Goat Candidate Won in high school, skipped college directly to NBA, than at the age of 23 won three rings in the pros, played completely an MJ n Pippen roles out of his natural sg position, leading his team with a sprained ankle while a finals game and won that game, and won the finals mvp for his teammate who fouled out in that ankle game.

He has 5 rings in total.

Shaq wasn't winning more MVP and more rings without him who proved he got one more to take to the bank.

But to walk in as a winner, and take a team and win a threepeat at age of 23. you're the GOAT especially when you throw in the 2 additional rings after that threepeat that haters said he could not have won.

Someone will say but he had Shaq. yeah so.... but he didnt have Shaq and had to play with bad ankle.

(Note: this is a revised version of the original statement by the op)

Cap would be close winning MVP his 2nd season, then also winning it all that very same season.

But to walk in as a winner, and take a team and win it all the first year. you're the GOAT especially when you throw in the 4 additional rings after that 1st one.

Magic is GOAT, just watch Magic when he was young, he could do it all, and he had athleticism and quickness when he was young, contrary to what some think. Magic remains modest even though he is the most incredible b ball player I have ever seen. Nothing like watching a game where Magic is participating. If Magic wanted to be big time scorer he could have, but he
wanted to win by making others better.
Nothing like watching prime time Magic, it was poetry in motion.

AND

Magic's career wasn't cut short (when we signed Sedale before Magic's retirement he would have been the BEST backup pg in the league), Magic would have had 10 rings.

Woulda-coulda-shoulda rings don't count.

how about Paxson? That Pippen assignment was a genius move but Phil asserted his power on MJ to pass the ball to wide open Paxson who made 4 shots in a row that cut Lakers lead to two (and eventually tied tied and won the game in over time). MJ was trying to beat the Lakers himself which did not work.

People always credited MJ for championships but those in the know know that it was Phil n Cartwright (yes, the soft spoken center who sent MJ to the floor when MJ tried to dunk on him on a one on one practice) who reminded MJ he couldnt win without involving his teammates.

Pippen, Cartwright, and Grant were not afraid of MJ.
Each grew a personality that made Bulls a greatest defensive team.
Yes, defense was how they beat the Bad Boys n Los Angeles Lakers.

There are some good readons why I put Kobe ahead of MJ. The first one being Kobe playing both Pippen n MJ role consistently.

In his "Eleven Rings," Phil indicated that Kobe was the best, if not, the greatest Triangle Offense student. Pippen was the second, not MJ.
