Scott treated Ed worse than he did Lin. Sad to see Davis go, he was a guy who showed some real potential for us. Oh well. Good luck, Ed.

FO doing what they do best, letting good players go for nothing, and not bringing in anyone else.

Ed Davis is a great player who is getting better each season. I really like what he has done for the Lakers!

Giving Sacre and Ronnie Price minutes over this dude and Lin was simply nonsensical on Byron Scott's part. Feel like we lost a steal.

It landed us Russell

I'll take that trade any day of the week

Same type of treatment. Did that to several players.

That sucks because Ed was such a team first guy. He would be happy to just rebound and play defense. That is rare these days when most guys would rather score and make highlights than be the hustle man.

Scott's nonsensical coaching gave us the number 2 pick. Ed was winning games for us. I really wanted him to stay.

well... that's why we got D'angelo Russell at the end. If Lin/Davis started the whole season, Lakers' record would not be bad enough to secure the No.2 draft.

Given a decent guard and minutes, ED could be doubledouble guy easily

Ok, let see if he can turn the jazz around.

If he becomes just a regular guy after the big contract (bssed on his performance), i will be lol_ing. You all know well many regular guys turn into super hardworkers when their contract is about to end.

So, if you are wise guys n gals, hold back your judgments on FO for letting him go at the Jazz price.

See if he is just like others who turned into nothing after landing a big multiyear contract.

I havent seen anybody saying Ed should have taken less to stay a Laker.

Well, of course, if your name is not Kobe its ok.

Good luck Ed! He was one of the few players from last year's (bleep) squad worth anything and worth bringing back. Sucks that we couldn't keep him.
