Lakers kept their 1st round pick in 2015 because it was top 5 protected....
If it's another tank fest, our boys better TANK like no tomorrow.
1st round pick 2016 is only top 3 protected.
Let the Games Begin.

To get a Top 3 pick you basically either want some or all of our young core to be complete busts or to have some kind of season ending injury. Good plan.

We're not Tanking... There's no incentive to. We have a better chance of finishing outside of the playoff picture than we have of finishing in the top 3. How quickly we forget the Knicks this past year.

people act like we even have a choice. let Byron develop the young core, that would mean losing a lot of games, learning from mistakes. no benching of the young core please... give them minutes.

It would be a good way to turn the Lakers into the 76ers though.
Tanking would be beyond dumb at this point. We need to show we have a solid foundation that would be attractive to Durant and the other free agents next off season. |
