This is what happens when your star player can't be bothered to recruit his own teammates. If Chris Paul had stepped in and made it seem like he actually wanted Jordan to stick around, I think the Clippers would have been able to keep him. But Paul was too busy on his vacation to really make an effort, while the Mavericks rolled out the red carpet and made Jordan feel welcome. |

Dallas? Really?
That rift between him and CP3 must have been pretty deep for him to go to Dallas. _________________ *sighs*

That loud noise you just heard was the Clippers championship window slamming shut.
They would have been better off losing Chris Paul than DeAndre Jordan. Oh wait, they lost Jordan because of Chris Paul actually _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |

You guys are laughable.
Clippers are going to get Mcgee who is the closest to DJ. If Doc can turn DJ from a bust to a max players, imagine what he will do for Mcgee who has more upside than DJ.
With Pierce and Stephenson, the Clippers are even better than last year. _________________ I will make better threads. |

I think Dallas will find out how much value DJ has without CP3..... |

Looking forward to a better 2nd round exit than last year. It will be tough to beat the entertainment of something like this:

Why are Lakers fans so insecure? Get over yourself. The title race this year is between Cavs, OKC, GS, and Spurs. But 2016, both the Lakers and Clippers will get much better. Lakers and Clippers could eventually meet in the WCF! _________________ I will make better threads. |

I don't understand why they can't use the money saved from Jordan leaving. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Because they are over the cap. They would've used Jordan's Bird rights to sign him, not cap space since they don't have any. _________________ |

I gotta agree with the posters that said "The Clipper Window is closed". Without DJ they are a different team. Doc's GM moves have screw that team, their back at square one. _________________ "If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear". Ive always loved that quote. I think we should offer them Russell and clarkson and hibbert for cp3, and if they accept, have our owner veto the trade. |

There's a lot of truth to this post, outside of the McGee has more upside/talent than DJ. DJ much better talent and player, no question. They lost a 8/10 C, and they'll get a 5 or 6/10 player in McGee.
However they added a lot of other pieces and they've got to play small and fast. I'd wager with anyone right now that the Clips foundation stays solid and they're still a strong playoff team next year.
The overvaluing and rating of DAJ will show next season, IMO. |

90% of Clipper "fans" are bandwagon fans. They'll be crawling back under their rock soon enough. Nobody will stick around in their down years. They're pathetic. |

McGee is a question mark at best and has been injured too much. He may be similar to DJ, but he still isn't DJ.
Speaking of question marks, Stephenson is one as well.
Those two could work out for them, but they could also both be huge disappointments. |

DeAndre was a 12/15 C last year - that's prime Mutombo-ish - and JaVale hasn't earned regular minutes in 3 or 4 seasons. The Clippers will be lucky to get 8/8 out of McGee. _________________ On Lakersground, a concern troll is someone who is a fan of another team, but pretends to be a Lakers fan with "concerns". |

Kobe has played more games than Javale the last two years. (bleep) Kobe has played more games! |

I think he was ranking them on a scale of 1-10, not listing stats.
If anybody thinks Javale McGee can replicate (or come close) to what DJ did for the Clippers I just don't know what to say. DJ is an All NBA center. McGee is on the fringe of being in the league. |

I've never been a fan of Roy Hibbert but if the Lakers get him he will be an improvement over what we have now. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.
