Free-agent forward Brandon Bass has agreed to sign with the Los Angeles Lakers, a league source told Yahoo Sports.

The terms of Bass' contract are still a work in progress because it is pending other Lakers deals, a source said. The Lakers have been aggressive over the weekend, agreeing to deals with Bass and Toronto Raptors free-agent guard Lou Williams and negotiating a trade for Indiana Pacers center Roy Hibbert.

Jimmy Butler? He wanted to come to LA anyways.
And wow... Mike Adamle? I wondered where that guy ended up. He was an awful announcer. |

I don't know what the Bulls would have that they would make a trade for - they didn't sign Butler to trade him to us. What we most need is a SF - Mike Dunleavy maybe?
The Clippers are screwed - I wonder if they would trade us Lance for Jordan Hill? |

Young can play SF which the Lakers need. Good for second unit offense.
The Lakers are overloaded at PF.
Randle, Kelly, Nance, Black
Can see trading Kelly and Sacre for Bass.
But Nick Young is instant offense and plays a position of need. |

Since the Bulls don't have any valuable draft choices (http://basketball.realgm.com/nba/draft/future_drafts/detailed), maybe the little used McDermott is a target.
Hill is a good replacement for Noah and JLin is a lessor version of DRose
Mitch and Jimmy are doing a good job of retooling |

I dont mind, but Lin wants to go to Dallas because he could start. He might start for the Bulls whne Rose breaks down anyways. Lakers look to be rounding up after the dismal first few days of free agency. I might even get League pass after all... hmmmm _________________ New Beginings |

So Williams can't jump and is not as fast before injury... now the Lakers have four guards that can't play the type defense needed in the west to cover the super guards on other teams.
And on another note - Jennie had a great weekend with Phil and Phil likes his coffee black while Jimmy bought a new hat and shaved.
Is any of this making them a better team, is there a strategy in play or is this all hit and miss with a need to pretend to do something.
Go Lakers

Uhm...okay. In answer to the three questions you've jammed into your last sentence (assuming those are questions) yes, yes, and no. _________________ Not a legend |
