That's double-trouble for the lucky dog

I look forward to seeing Lou do some big things with the Lakers this season. It would be nice if he could repeat as 6th Man of the Tear.

Just a player who makes things happen. I think he will be a great shot creator.

Lou was great tonight. A nice glimpse in to what we can expect from him. The others? Not so much =(

I like the way Lou plays. He's more aggressive and has better vision than Nick Young. He can be that consistent scoring option off the bench we have needed.

Lou was pretty frustrating to watch. He can score, and has great handles but he doesn't pass the ball fairly around. He gave Nick open touches but he doesn't seem to like Jabari. You can hide that... He forced Jabari to do too much and get out of his groove because he wasn't getting any passes when he was wide open. If Lou can't distribute fairly he shouldn't be running point.

I'm loving the fact that we have loads of shot-creating players now whereas a couple of seasons ago it was just Kobe. Lou looks like a keeper... a mini-Monta Ellis.

He's not. Byron didn't sub him in with DLO/Clarkson and he had to play PG tonight b/c Huertas is hurt and Scott inexplicably went with platoon substitutions.

I think he acquitted himself well given the fact he's brought in as a shooting guard. When Jabari Brown had to play some PG, that was an unmitigated disaster.

Jabari was hung out because lou was the only ball handler and utah took the ball out of his hands to make jabari do something with it. Young looked better because he can create a shot.

I know what I saw.. It was some, "I'm a veteran.. I'm better than you. I'm not passing you the ball because I can score with tight defense on me. Oh but you're cool Swaggy P so here you go mess." A real point guard gets everyone involved.

No sense arguing with people who rebut facts with I know what I saw...

You should read this thread, Lou isn't a real PG.

I'm liking the duo of Lou Williams and Nick Young off the bench. On a good team, that's a formidable duo off the bench. I'd love to see a good point guard with them off the bench though.

That where huertas and clarkson (for a few minutes) come in.

Yeah. That's what I was thinking. Huertas though.. idk. I haven't seen enough of him in Byron's offense to come to a conclusion yet so that'd be TBD.

If Anthony Brown wasn't so inexperienced, I would suggest throwing him in the starting unit and letting either Jordan Clarkson or D'Angelo Russell run the bench unit along with Lou Williams and Nick Young.

He's an OK PG, depending upon what you have around him, but you can't make him the sole ball handler on the floor and expect him to create for others.

I thought Lou did ok in the preseason in moving the ball around but I definitely wouldn't want him to do that every night. I hope Huertas is back soon.
