|
|
I have compiled a list on teams Young, Kelly, and Sacre could fit as depth
Sacre- what he bring to the table: big body, good teammate, had a couple double digit scoring games, hard worker. Could maybe nab a 2nd rounder
potential suitors:
Bulls: insurance
Cavs- interest in the past
Dallas- currently no backup center
Denver- currently just an undersized Hickson as backup center
Spurs- lost brynes to Detriot, no cap space to sign anyone. Only bench big is Diaw
Magic- just lost quinn to New York, have no backup center
Jazz- no current backup center
Wizards- Sacre is better than Blair. Might reminds them of Gortat
Ryan Kelly- stretch 4 who has had a few good games, young, good iq
Suitors
Denver- need another big if they like Hickson at center
Dallas- team is thin up front with no cap space. Amare could leave to Clippers
Indiana- currently no 4s, they want to run, and Kelly can run okay
Grizzlies- need to improve their 3pt shooter, team shoots horrible, currently no backup 4 if they consider Wright a center
Bucks- Henson is more of center, could use a 4 since they traded their old stretch 4
Spurs- Kelly seems like a Spurs player, and could be a young Bonner
Kings- Cousins could use a stretch 4, team is thin at forward spots
Toronto- currently have no backup power forward after Amir Johnson left
Nick Young- fans in LA might be tired of him, but the guy can shoot and create his own open look. Lakers might be able value in a Young trade
Suitors:
Hawks- team plays great team ball, but could use more offense players off the bench
Hornets- worse shooting team in the league, Jordan tired of losing, Mitch Carolina ties, Young would fit in nice backing up MGK
Bulls- team plays great D, but like Hawks could use more offensive firepower to compete with Cavs
Pistons- Stanley Johnson might be green and team is trying to recreate the old Magic team with Stan. Team could use another shooter
Memphis- another tough minded defense team, needing offense firepower off the bench and shooting
Spurs- Leonard needs a backup, and coach Pop could take the challenge of Young for a run. pop could be that guy to get young to play discipline
Kings- team needs a backup SF. Young can slide to wither swingman spot. Young is good friends with Boogey and would make him happy.
Toronto- just lost their 6th man to Lakers. could use a replacement to that role. |

From your list, SA could use all 3 but has no room. If we're straight dumping salary then Toronto makes the most sense either for Lou, or just a distant 2nd. |

I think Sacre and Kelly get packaged and sent to Indy as part of the Hibbert trade. Young could get sent to the Hornets or Toronto, I could see that happening. Lin may get signed and traded to Dallas for Anderson. |

Ryan Kelly - We should keep him. He put up some decent games when he was playing PF. He can stretch the floor and rebounds decently. Lakers need to stop using him at SF as he doesn't have the foot speed to keep up.
Nick Young - Overlapping role with Lou Williams. Now that Lakers have Williams, they should trade Nick Young.
Robert Sacre - I'm indifferent whether they keep him on the team as insurance or trade him. |

Please, Sacre is insurance for injury only. He doesn't do crap out there. Kelly due to the injuries last season really has not done much lately. He is also too skinny, and weak. I cannot for the life of me understand WHY Byron had him guarding LeBron back when we played them... SMH _________________ New Beginings |

I dont get trading Ryan Kelly. He is cheap and has shown promise as a stretch 4. |

I can see Sacre and Kelly move to Indiana for Hibbert. ( Per rumours)
Swaggy can be dealt for a SF or keep Swaggy in case Kobe gets injured?
If Mitch can package 1 or players for a legit SF that would be swell. _________________ "Changes aren't permanent, but change is." - Rush, Tom Sawyer |

Ryan Kelly had a terrible 2014-15 season and I believe it is because he was forced to play SF instead of PF. As evidence of this, his averages for 2013-14 season were generally better across the board when he got minutes at PF.
If given the opportunity, I think Kelly could be a better stretch 4 than Channing Frye and can get close to Ryan Anderson's production. I agree that he should rebound better for his size but his rebounding is not as bad as people make it out to be.

I would prefer to trade Tarik Black over Kelly. |
