| i'm really itching to get one now just in time for the new Madden game. do not want to buy a PS3 Madden game and later upgrade the console. seems like there's not much discount to have out there for PS4. i've looked Best Buy, Amazon and Walmart. any other places may have deals? |

My ps3 is on its last legs and I'm in the same boat. I haven't seen anything as far as pricedrops go... Mainly just game or extra controller bundles. Kinda lame. Actually considering a X1 now, or may just wait to see if they do anything for Black Friday.

They're the market leader right now. I forgot where I read it, but someone at Sony was interviewed and asked about possible price drops and they pretty much said it's not happening. They have no reason to lower prices because they're still selling really well with the high price.
It's Microsoft that has to have all of the killer deals right now for the XBO. |

The Arkham Knight PS4 bundle was $370 on slickdeals recently. I would keep an eye on there. Different deals pop up from time to time. Maybe set a slickdeals alert for PS4 and Playstation 4.
Also next week on July 15 Amazon is suppose to have black friday like deals all day for their 20th anniversary. Nobody knows the deals so they may not have a PS4 on sale but another thing to keep an eye out for.
Lastly if you are a Amazon prime customer you can preorder Madden for PS4 for $50 and for $45 on xbox one. |

Go on slickdeals and setup an alert to get ps4 deals. Cowboom frequently has sales for used ps4s ranging from $150-200 without controllers, which u can buy for $40 on sale.

I got a PS4 this year, but literally only play GTA V
It's a lot of fun playing it online, lots of games to play.

Honestly there still aren't any killer apps on both ps4/X1 just yet. I would wait until Black Friday to buy one. Only thing worth purchasing is battlefront and uncharted 4 (next year)
