I didn't take the time to listen to it, as we can get plenty of delusional rants from fans without leaving this message board. I will say that listening to talk radio on Sirius, with occasional bits from TalkSports, has been illuminating when it comes to the mindset of English football fans. In a way, it reminds me of the old days of the Southwest Conference, when all of the major Texas college teams were compressed into one conference. The extent to which the fan bases obsessed about each other and their teams was a bit disturbing. I see a lot of parallels to that in England.

"Success is like pregnancy, you might like being congratulated but nobody knows how many times you've fecked to achieve it"

"Ref's so (bleep) he went to the dentist to get a bluetooth"

Is that like the old Fan Zone broadcasts? I used to love those when they ran on Fox Soccer Channel. Sometimes they would squabble, but sometimes you would get a fan who had far better insights than the talking heads.

I can still remember one time when some goalkeeper (maybe for Blackburn, but I'm not sure) nutmegged himself for an own goal. Fan Zone was just priceless that day.

More like a fan created Liverpool channel on various social media platforms. They are parodies of Liverpool fans' delusional rants which makes it all the more hilarious.

Love the old fan zone broadcasts on Sky.

Days after their loss to their bitterest of rivals and the news keeps getting better for Liverpool fans.

Mignolet signs contact extension at Liverpool.

The reactions are pure gold:

https://twitter.com/Kolology/status/689132959102832641

From RAWK:

"Suarez signed a new contract the winter before he was sold to Barca. I imagine this is a move to up his resale value as he was a "money ball" signing."

"Bet they're all crowded around the phone waiting for Barca to call."

Too much?

Nah, it's only when doom & gloom hits the Scousers who are usually incorrigibly upbeat.

£8.5 for Naismith. Premiums for English players are no joke.

What a game between Norwich and Liverpool!

Liverpool led 1-0. Then was behind 3-1. Then led 4-3. Then Norwich scored a goal in the 92nd minute to tie it 4-4. And then Liverpool scored in the 95th minute to win it 5-4!!!

If true, that's sad. Two sides desperate for things to happen; a man who covets his old boss' seat and a team who's board begrudingly pretends to stand behind a lame duck of a manager whilst persuing a city rival's target.

*Edit*

Source was Miguel Delaney; so take that with a grain of salt.

Apparently broken ribs and a punctured lung. Great, our second starting fullback out for the season...

Despite what some of the pundits say, this is why the EPL is the best league in the world. Anyone can beat anyone on any given day.

You know, it might just be time to start taking Leicester seriously. No one else seems all that interested in winning the league. We're actually at the point in the season where the number of remaining fixtures is shrinking and the math is becoming more relevant. Will Leicester go to the UCL? With 15 games to go, Leicester is 10 points clear of 5th place Man U. Meanwhile, 4th place Tottenham is 5 points clear of Man U, and 14 points clear of Chelsea.

So, at a time when the EPL is in danger of losing its fourth UCL slot, the EPL may be sending out Leicester and Tottenham to save the day. What's incredible is that actually sounds like a good idea at the moment.

What is so frustrating for Arsenal is they had the chance last summer to go out and add impact players. They rolled the dice with what they had, as usual the guys get injured, now in January he's acting like new signings are on the way in terms of injured players coming back.

Arsenal need a quality CB to go alongside Koscielny, they need steel in the middle of the park, and they need a legit backup striker. Any idiot can see Mertesacker isn't cutting it these days.

Big time waste of money for me today because I went to the game. Lot of frustrated fans there, my little bro was going mad by the end

Yep. "Awful" and "horrible" are two of the words that jump to mind when I think of LVG's tenure at Man U.

Other than the Pep news, not much else happening today.

Arsenal doing their usual, chance to improve their team and ability to win the league, yet they do nothing.

I know it's not EPL related, but wanted to share anyways.
It's their second match being back since the ban was lifted.

Barcelona Juvenil A VS Real Zaragoza Juvenil A
