Good.

All the injury prone players and/or busts sign with Adidas.

Tracy McGrady, Gilbert Arenas, Derrick Rose, Danilo Gallonari, Robert Griffin III, Eric Gordon, Iman Shumpert.

Probably a lot more I haven't mentioned, just those names on the top of my head. Good safe choice with Nike Russell. Now I won't ever be afraid of you ever becoming injury prone yourself.

And someone also mentioned Exum with Adidas...that would explain a lot about his bust status.

Exum a bust? Again, 19 year olds do not generally light up the stat sheet. The kid held his own on defense and was not any worse than Burke who was a 4year college player.

Exum could easily take big steps over the next couple years. Dont be so quick to call players bust. It takes time to find yourself in the league.
I think he'll make strides in the next 2 to 3 years.

I still like Exum's upside way more then Burke's at the moment. I think Burke's falling into a role of a streak shooter/gunner type. It's not a bad thing since he contrast well with what could be Exum's game. But Exum's growing and getting more comfortable with the NBA game. Definitely still too soon to label bust.

Nike is killing the league by giving players huge sums of cash before they even play a game. Jordan had to prove himself on the court before he was given his shoe deal and despite being so great was relatively humble. Lebrun was given $100 million before he stepped on the court and look at what an unbearable person he is!

i honestly dont know what your are talking about here. lebron is a good guy and very likable person. as lakers fans, i dont see why we have to think that he is the "bad" guy. he handled "the decision" very poorly as a young man, but has matured in the next few years and is now the face of basketball. he's the best player in the world, a good teammate, and appears to be a good man outside of the court as well.

people who sees lebron as a zero sum game where lebron has to lose in order for kobe to "win" is just immature. both are great players and will be considered one of the greatest ever to play the game. but no question: lebron is more likeable and has better public perception. we are beginning to see the type of man he always was. kobe was never that type of guy: teammates always had issues with him, coaches had issues with him, had the sex scandal, didn't want to take a paycut to help the team etc. (i dont blame him). but people need to stop thinking lebron is a "Bad guy" just bc they support kobe/lakers. lebron is good for bball and is a great role model for people in cleveland and all over the world

It's got nothing to do with Kobe or the "Decision". When he told the world that he was a better person because he makes alot of money and can dunk a basketball, and that all of us "Had to go back to our regular lives the next day" I was done with him forever. I know exactly what he meant by that and that's when I drew the line. He's classless. And personally, I don't think I'd want to be his teammate. He told his team before game 1 of this last season that this was going to be the biggest game of their careers...Really?!?! Why, because YOU decided to come back to the Cavs, it's MY biggest game?!?! He's a narcissist. We all face adversity in life, and he handles his very poorly. When his back was against the wall in the Finals, he comes out and tells us that "I'm the greatest player in the world"...What was the point of that, especially when you're about to lose in the Finals for the 4th time?!?!

I'll even take it one step further and I know some will not like this but I don't care...IMO he was never shown how to be a man. He is the perfect example of why it's important to have a father figure in your life. He raised himself, and that's rarely a good thing. When I look at him and hear him talk, I see a little boy...not a man.

P.S. I'll give him credit for not getting into trouble with the law, but that's about it. And even though I think Barkley is a buffoon, I agree that you cannot have your kids viewing athletes as role-models just because they were born to be tall...it's just stupid.

I hope he takes over the Penny line of shoes...those were dope. He wears #1 so the shoe fits.

What is he doing signing with Nike when he should be working on his jumpshot.

What the hell? Is this kindergarten here? He'll be alright with his jumpshot and you bandwagon jumper will chear in his swingman jersey purple and gold with the number 1 on it.

Take a break on that young fella. All that just because he didn't dominate in SUMMER LEAGUE? How did Kobe do in Summer League? How did Jordan do in Summer League? How did Shaq do in Summer League?

This get-a-feel games don't mean (bleep) or do you see banners of summer league titles up in the rafters at Staples?

Become a Sixers Fan if you like Okafor that much.

If you follow me closely it was purely sarcasm. I'm an ardent supporter of Russell. He has all the tools to become an elite PG in the league. Yes, even his athleticism will develop with time.

Sorry for that then. Because of all the talk going on lately on LG I just got to sensitive. Great to hear that we are in the same boat here

Imagine the epic battles those two are going to be in! Lakers vs Wolves WCF would be very good for nike.
