Lakers destroy them easily. The front court is just not fair. Pippen shouldn't have chimed in. Shaq very cold on Pippen. LOL!

Haha. Shaq going in hard.

He remembers Scottie being a jive turkey in '00 and '01.

Truth be told though, that Bulls team would win in a game/series. Defense too good, roles too well defined. Kobe would inevitably try to be the hero for the all-time Lakers and get shut down by MJ/Pip or strangled by Kareem.

Nobody on that Bulls team could guard Shaq or Kareem.

If you mean they'd probably win one game in a 7 game series, then yeah, sure. But the Lakers are the flat out better team. That defense isn't going to do anything to Kareem's skyhook. And who's the biggest in the line-up, Ho Grant at 6'10. With Magic orchestrating and making sure we exploit our strengths, Bulls have no chance. Especially, when Rose has to sit-out half the series because he has to be mentally ready and pretty before he plays.

Poor Pippen having to try to guard both Kobe and Magic.

And then seeing Kareem getting into position. *Oh (bleep)*

I've always liked Shaq

Will Shaq become the first player to have his jersey retired by multiple NBA teams (Lakers, Orlando and Miami)?

Kobe would play like he did for the Olympic teams. He would back off and play defense. With a team like this, he doesn't have to score at all. Jordan would have to carry the offense and then try to defend Kobe, Magic, Baylor. Pick your poison. He would get (bleep).

And MJ and Pip ain't shutting down Kobe. Maybe a 35 year old Kobe.

The Bulls team would get wrecked by that team of legends.

Haha yup.

Then their best defenders have to score the load and try their luck at defending either, Kobe, Magic or Baylor.

Nowhere near enough offense on that Bulls team. But MVP Rose, Prime Jordan, and Prime Pippen is enough to steal a game or two in a 7 game series. The main problem our team has is that there's only one ball.

Boy, this made my day!!
I am loving it!!

btw...a Lakers all time squad would destroy any teams all time squad, that's not really fair. There's really only one all time great the lakers don't have, and that's Jordan. The rest are the best of the best and they all wore purple and gold.

wilt
kareem
kobe
magic
(the list can basically end here, but...)

cooper
gasol

sure, maybe.
the worst part of the bulls is the lack of big men. they dont have any all time big men. whereas the lakers have shaq, kareem, wilt...top 3 bigmen of all time. it's laughable really. it's like having mj, kobe, west, dr. j on the same organization, and even then the lakers have 2 of those.

lakers are crazy. no team can beat the lakers in this sort of debate. the lakers by themselves can represent the hall of fame for the nba.

Yeah, Lakers beat those Bulls easily. They're just too small. Let's not forget Magic is 6'9". Lakers by 25 without breaking a sweat!

Lakers would win because of Magic. He would hit guys in their spots and keep the offensive barrage pouring. He would easily rack up about thirty assists. Also Chicago has no scoring outside of MJ. Lakers could easily absorb a 40 pt game from Jordan and still blow em out by 50.

I would imagine that Jordan already has this, seeing as Miami, of all teams, retired his.

I don't like the fact of magic and Kobe together

I'd wanna see

Kerr vs Fisher (3pt little guys with big hearts)
MJ vs Kobe (nuff said)
Pippen vs Metta ( defense)
Rodman vs Gasol ( this would be fun)
Noah vs Shaq (crazy talker Noah vs big daddy)

Lakers in 7

Artest vs Rodman would be 'must see TV'
