It's no wonder why Phil Jackson and Jerry West couldn't get along. They both like to pointlessly spit in other peoples eyes.

One thing about Phil, you always know what's on his mind.

P.S. When will Screamin A Smith go away for good?!?! Somebody please take him out back behind the barn!

Yeah, months after the fact and through the media.

This is exactly why I was never a fan of Phil and will never be a fan of Phil. He acts like a gossip girl, very very untrustworthy and he is so concerned about his legacy that he will throw you under the bus to try to make himself look good. I can't stand people like that just disgusting

He is becoming senile, like old politicians writing revisionist books and giving interviews "as the conscience of the nation", bashing newcomers and elevating its status a "experienced know it alls".
Ah but Phil is still working in the NBA!!!
Deplorable

I hate that term. Under the Buss.

Most nauseating term that caught on in recent years is "I'm just blessed..." Phony religulous sentiment.

I just hate everything, man.

There are no private conversations, but there are only people who mistakenly thought they were in one.

Yet Phil seems to be the only coach/GM in basketball that outs these private conversations on a consistent basis. Your comment only seems to apply if you're confiding in Phil Jackson.

Not really.

Your portrayal of Phil as a some uniquely indiscreet person in basketball is exaggerated. If you'd been a Warriors or Sonics or Sacramento fan of the past ten years (as my brothers and sisters were), or a current Timberwolves or Sixers fan (my kids are), you'd appreciate the extent to which Phil's comments (about his guys) stand with equivalency to the levels of "sharing" by many executives of those clubs.

I do think that we as individuals must expect that events and conversations in the pro basketball workplace settings (whether games, practice, travel, close door meeting, etc.) are not private. But then, I'm an attorney and I have a rather strong POV about label law and behavior in the workplace.

I'm sure the are anecdotal examples of it elsewhere. But I would love to see examples of a particular person doing it so consistently, including penning multiple books exposing private conversations without permission or consent.

I dunno fellas, I'm pretty happy (I feel blessed) that Phil came along to replace Harris, Rambis, Rudy T, and Hamblen. Am I a sellout for not caring that he wrote a book and scrapped with Kobe and this and that? Maybe, but I don't care. Why? He replaced Harris, Rambis, Rudy T and Hamblen.

I want you to run!! RUUUUUUUN! I'm talkin about RUNNING back! YOU! YOU! YOU! and YOU! Run the F back!

Harris, Rambis, Rudy T and Hamblen.

Tell all book in 2004?
-Frank Hamblen

Feud with Kobe?
-Del Harris

Feud with Jerry?
-Kurt Rambis

Thank you, Phillip.

Del Harris, people.

lol NPZ. great points.

So what are you saying?? The ends justify the means? You're ok with these employees trashing the company as long as the end result is a champinship?? You cold hearted meanie. I wish we had stuck with Kurt, he has a kind face and was a Showtimer. He probably could have won 3-4 rings with Kobe and Shaq, who couldn't?

Why? It's true for Phil in a literal way. I mean, you know he gets under the Buss on a semi-regular basis.

What happened to Delmer was not Phil's fault. Shaq got him fired, just like he got Eddie and Elden traded.

I don't know that West really wanted to make those moves, but had to appease his superstar.

Now Phil was an ODB move..we all know that.
