Yup. It wasn't initially clear as to the context in which the showing was referred to as "respectable".

But he and definitely agree that relative to those who failed to qualify for the tourney, the showing was respectable (and possibly, even better than that).

He won't win another major...its bad enough he lost his mental edge, now his body is giving up on him.

Had to bump this thread because I just read this article on Tiger and thought it was really interesting and well written.

I miss the days when Tiger was Tiger. I still enjoy watching the majors or at least the Masters and the US Open but I miss Tiger.

I warn you in advance, it is long but a great read. Very interesting to hear more of the details of how he grew up with Earl

I think back to Steve Nash and Larry Bird, they could no longer perform because of back issues....don't expect to see Tiger hitting the senior tour.
