Some of these girls are cute but the majority of them are nothing special, I think the girl that I know (#150) is one of the cuter ones there tbh

How much do they get paid these days?

Under AB202 ( thanks to Jerry Brown) which will be in effect 2016, they will be considered workers rather than contractors. Heard it used be $130/game and they get an hourly rate for appearances depending on venue/category.

Not nearly enough for the kinds of guys they meet and take pictures with, that's for sure.

Where's that thread that had some interesting folk? LOL

Bye.

When I was in college, 2 laker girls were in my class. Someone had to tell me who they were because I didn't notice them all semester. I was in a classroom with only 20 or so students. Laker girls aren't the hottest.

I watch Laker Girls on TWC every season and noticed the girls are getting less attractive every year. There were some really cute ones the first season of Laker Girls. To be honest I think these this year are surprisingly (not in a good way). This is my opinion and I'm a female. Seems many guys here agree.

The TWC Show debuted in 2012 which is about one lockout season removed from Phil's last year. During the championship years, Lisa always had a squad full of returners and just a few new girls. After the Mike Brown season, it started to change. The number of returners started to decrease so there were more slots open for new girls, who wouldn't have otherwise gotten in.

By season 3 (end of the D'Antoni era, beginning of the Byron Scott era), it was a challenge for Lisa because most of the returners left the squad and almost 2/3 of the squad were rookies. Thankfully, the 8 returners (Shelbie, Hunter, Blake, Sarah, Lizzie, Jennifer, Jessie, Karla ) were around to guide to help the new members get up to speed. Ultimately, the squad got through it and it looks like they should have more returners to work with this year, but the turnover rate is still high.

Once the team is competitive again, things will get better. For now, the time commitment for practices, d-fender games, laker games, and charity work is a much harder sell to more candidates when the team is in the middle of rebuilding.

I'll never understand USA's taste for women. So different from ours, here in Brazil.

Yeah I expected a lot more from California, or even LA, girls. I live in Puerto Rico so I get what you're saying. We got a lot of potential here just like Brazil.

Yeah, you probably know what I'm talking about. Girls here are naturally beautiful.

I just got back from the Dominican Republic a couple months ago, and you guys are right. I just laugh at these women here in America who think they are soooo hot, but in the Carribean would be considered dog food. I tell all men to leave this country and see what true beauty is before you get married. Don't do it after you get married or you'll be coming back to the States looking for a good divorce lawyer. One or two of those Lakers girls are ok, the rest are like "Eh whatever".

If you want dancers, you get cute-decent.

If you don't want dancers, the bombshell quotient goes WAY up.

That's just how it goes.

Bye.

An ex-girlfriend of mine is a professional dancer, and (last time I checked) currently runs a dance school... "bombshell" is subjective, but I disagree with your assessment.

236 is very beautiful

288 is a very natural beauty and body, I am glad she made it through.

They are all pretty and I am sure they have people in their lives that genuinely find them attractive, they may not all be here but they do.

I'd say 236 and 288 strand out to me in that Laker Girl way.

236 does seem to have that Laker Girl look/attitude! She is the cutest one to me.

Looking thru them again....158 has a great Laker Girl vibe, too! I think her outfit isn't flattering for her.

288 was on the squad last year, think they'll both have a good chance to make it to final 22.

No but in all seriousness, not a single one is a bombshell imo. Expected a little more from Laker girls.

What happened to that petition for thicker Laker girls?
