Right now I assume kobe will start at the 3, young will come off the bench, and brown will be next. My question is on nights kobe doesn't play who do you think starts ? Also do we have anyone else on the roster that can play sf?

Until Randle shows a jump shot of any kind, SF is not an option for him. Same with Nance.

You're forgetting who the coach is. By 80's standards Randle is perfectly suited to play SF.

I think that Brown will come around quicker than most think. He is a mature player.

Honestly I can see Russell Clarkson and Lou

Russell has the length to defend the 3.... This team is more offensive oriented so I think they go that

Agree he's the type of guy who knows his role. That's what I like about giving rookies early minutes is because they're hungry. He graduated from Stanford so he's smart, top 5 shooter in the draft, and has length.

He will be a solid player. I say give him 15-18 min opening night

Really? SF will be 6'8"; we don't want an undersized SG guarding SF's...

SF will be a need for the Lakers to fill next season post Kobe...

From the glimpse we got of Anthony Browns in summer league id say that he's probably our best man-man defender already. That along with nick young being I the dog house pretty much ensures he sees plenty of minutes.

If that is the SF group the Lakers choose to go with lets just call it what it is a three guard system. The only "SF" in that group is Brown at 6'7 / 215.

The Lakers will be undersized at SF every night. It will be a liability in every game. Also on offense, will Scott run a system to utilize a three guard system? Likely not.

Teams like GS and PHO get away with playing small ball because they embrace it. Not sure the Lakers can play that way or want to.

Going to be interesting to see how they make this work. I assume they have a plan, what it is I am not seeing. At the moment I hate the SF situation they face. And have no clue why they have not addressed it sooner in free agency.
