Depends on the definition of a move.

They'll probably add/cut/waive some folks for preseason games.

I don't know big brother, but something is definitely going down.

Omer Asik is not playing for his national team because of a "bad back." That means he's probably getting traded here now that they have Porkins. Sacre for Asik straight up? They'll have to throw in a 1st rounder if they want Kelly too.

Mitch's POV/MO is to always be prepared and able to make moves when circumstances present itself - hence keeping that one roster spot open.

Does this roster need tweaking - obviously yes

With a completely revamped roster that is filled with rookies, there are uncertainties everywhere. Given Kobe's physical frailties and limited imposed PT, Mitch has to prepare to have backups at SF & SG if he gets injuried

You need to throw in about $10 million more in salaries too

Tossing Young over the starboard side, maybe. Barring a Boogie crisis or meltdown in SAC, that's about it.

Andre Miller
Quincy Pondexter via trade
Dalembert or Blatche to shore up the front-court..

If Mitch accomplishes that plan he will win the GM award for sure.

Huh? What? Wut.
Laker fans are grateful that Mitch is a SMART GM and only consider talented players on the upside of their career

Seriously guys, this is harder than it looks. I don't think I have the energy to keep it up.

I could see us rolling with the roster we have plus Upshaw. Sure we need some different pieces, but I don't expect a complete team just yet.

Impostor! The real 2.0 would project us in the WCF. I knew it was too good to be true =(

You might think I'm joking about this but I'm not. I honestly think the Lakers are trying to do something huge and don't want it to get leaked to the media and have whiny owners like Cuban and Gilbert crying about it... plus you have Popovich to play the whining role... as well.

Let's see if I'm right in the next few months...

My sources can confirm that the Lakers are sending a training camp invite to Lamar Odom, Andrew Bynum, Smush Parker, Baron Davis, and the hologram of Pete Maravich.
