Tossing Young over the starboard side, maybe. Barring a Boogie crisis or meltdown in SAC, that's about it.

Boogie and rondo are gonna tear it up out there just watch and see. If boogie was on the table we should have gave up randle for him.

Sac would have wanted more than Randle obviously and second Cousins wasn't on the trading block.

Would've taken Randle + #2 at minimum. Any less and you gotta think Mitch's wand would have been tingling.

Lakers were willing to trade either Randle OR #2 + Clarkson for Cousins + a bad contract. Sacramento wanted #2, Randle, Clarkson and to dump whatever they could.

At this point, I think Sacramento wants to see how their squad does... can't blame them:

Couins
WCS
Gay/Butler
Collison
Rondo

Laker fans would be bashing the Front Office had they traded the 2, Randle and Clarkson for Demarcus

True because Cousins (a very talented player) is not even close to a Shaq or Kobe-like transcendent player that attracts other stars.

Keeping that last roster spot open to have the ability to move quickly to get a major pivotal player is what Mitch (a very smart and successful GM) is doing.

It was Randle, Clarkson and Russell for him.

If these players were part of the trade ("Queens" we're probably asking for more), it would be a bad trade for us.

2 of the 3 and I do that trade.

No way with all 3 and I heard they were asking for picks on top of that?

Sacto tried to pimp Mitch, that isn't happening.

That is because the King have no interest in trading Cousins.

Instead of now when all the good and even average players are signed.

They should go hard at the beginning instead of waiting for pipe dreams which will never happen.

1. Identify the players that would want to play for LA at a price they can afford.

2. Go after them hard by telling you want them. No more Gasol like treatment to players.

3. Look for international players often overlooked.

4. Stockpile draft picks especially from loosing teams.

5. Stick to their guns. don't keep changing lineups and players each season as well as coaches.
