RICO SWAGGY!!

No one in the NBA captures big moments quite like the Lakers’ Spanish broadcasters, Adrian Garica-Marquez and Francisco Pinto. For the second time in three years, the duo has captured the “Best Live Call” award, this time for their narration of Nick Young’s game-winning 3-pointer in San Antonio on Dec. 12.
As Young swished the 3-pointer with 7.4 seconds left in overtime, Garica-Marquez — the play-by-play announcer — broke out one of his many nicknames and added a culinary twist on the broadcast.
Thanks OP, I just added TWCDeportes to my custom channel listing. I have been learning Spanish on duolingo for the last few months. I might have to watch all of the Lakers games this season in Spanish.
So learning another language is the key to avoiding Billy and Stu. Good to know.
I wanted to learn Spanish anyway, this gives me even more reason to. Stu is awful in every way and although Billy means well, he needs some more basketball knowledge and a little less of the dorky behavior.

congrats to Adrien and Francisco! Billy and Stu are tolerable imo. At lease you could tell Stu likes and respects Billy Mac, un like how he was with Joel. Ireland on the other hand is just terrible. Thompson is cool but Ireland is an idiot, you could tell he doesn't have a thorough NBA knowledge, which is sad given his profession.

Ireland just looks like a condescending prick. And I bet if I get to know him he probably is

I'm sorry but Billy and Stu aren't that good.
It's more than that with Stu. He doesn't want to be there, and is phoning it in for the pay check. If you're lucky to catch a stream that has audio during the off air breaks he'll flat out say he'd rather be home, and this isn't end of the season blowout talk either. I recall him doing it a single digit game in November last season.
Billy's not very good, but at least you can tell he loves the job.

No surprise with stu. He's getting up there in age and none of his play by play guys comes close to Chick. Add in the lakers dismal play of late and of course he'd rather be home.
Even in the lean years of 92-94, chick had a way to keep things fun for the audience.
