The idea of Rio is exciting because of its vibrant culture, food, and sexy people, but it's a sh_ poor murderhole, and a vulgar place to tolerate for more than a night. Kinda like Vegas without all the midwestern and Euro out of towners to keep it PG. _________________ http://chickhearn.ytmnd.com/

The IOC needs to figure out a change. They need to ease up on the requirements, and on their absolutely ridiculous list of demands, demands that caused Oslo to drop its bid for the 2022 Olympics.
What are some of those demands? Glad you asked.
1. “They demand to meet the king prior to the opening ceremony. Afterwards, there shall be a cocktail reception. Drinks shall be paid for by the Royal Palace or the local organizing committee.”
2. “Separate lanes should be created on all roads where IOC members will travel, which are not to be used by regular people or public transportation.”
3. “The IOC members should have separate entrances and exits to and from the airport.”
4. “A welcome greeting from the local Olympic boss and the hotel manager should be presented in IOC members’ rooms, along with fruit and cakes of the season.”

Wow, what a pile of human excrement they are. Gonna kill one of the great achievements of mankind. _________________ “It took many years of vomiting up all the filth I’d been taught about myself, and half-believed, before I was able to walk on the earth as though I had a right to be here.”

i think germany, india, italy or even the usa is due for the summer olympics. would be nice to see the german opening ceremony. the retelling of german history all the way throught the 30's and 50's to reunification...
that would be cool
india would be awesome too... swimming in goa, track and field in mumbai or kerala..

The IOC doesn't care about your feel good stories, they only care about whose filling their back pockets....

Beth Penna Pereira, a psychologist from Rio’s high-end Leblon neighborhood, experienced the cuts first hand when her purse was stolen at a neighborhood bakery. When she went to the local precinct to report the incident she left empty-handed.
“We don’t have paper for the incident report. None of the printers are working ... We haven’t received any supplies for a while,’” she recalled the officer saying.
“I’m feeling more insecure, more unprotected, more helpless,” she said.
