Why do your sentences end with triple dots? One period is enough!

At least give a response to what was stated. I just cant believe how many fans want DeRozan when its clear he doesn't have the tools needed at 2 guard to play in the the type of system we want to implement.

I take Bazemore over Derozan too.

I like his game but was always not too high on him because I feel like he's undersized for the 3. But he's been playing the 3 a lot in ATL and been just fine

He can guard 1/2/3

Must have missed the memo that Lakers have $70 million in cap space

.... ....

should we forget about rfa in cba & give contracts to ezeli/barnes that would make it hard gsw to match?

Throw 8 million at Ezeli and I bet GS doesn't match...

I already stated many times my own position on Derozen. I for the most part, tend to agree with you and think he's not a total ideal fit here, but at the same time, we need some talent. And worst case, we can just trade him later like the Magic did with Tobias Harris.

I think the main priority should be going after Whiteside/Horford first before anyone else (with Durant as the exception of course).

No need for snarky comments. To create that space all u have to do trade lou without sal coming back

Which shouldn't be that difficult. I bet on draft day we can get rid of him for a draft pick. A late first or early 2nd rounder. Or a future pick.

Yupe. I think with luke here he is good as gone

Without Durant, I don't see the point of signing Horford.

Thankfully Durant is coming. The Gypsy psychic around the street told me so and I trust her inner sources.

We have to think about who we will be competing against for the next decade...warriors have draymond, klay, steph. Spurs with kawhi. Twolves with towns Wiggins lavine. Pelicans Anyhony Davis. We need players that can match up well with these players and teams...for instance I don't like horford because i feel like draymond can shut him down. He's not a great rebounder for center position and not a good rim protector basically he's to slow and lacks height to make up for it. Derozan can't shoot and would never have a chance with kawhi on him...bazemore I like he improved 3 pt shooting, can guard mltiple positions and can finish on the break. He could do as good as job as any guarding klay and switching on to curry at his position...Chandler, mahinmi two center who can get up and down the floor finish strong at the rim and do all dirty work without complaining about offensive touches. Conley creates for others can space the floor and potentially guard 1 and 2 depending on matchup and feel he would be good fit with Russell. We need to make sure players we get can do multiple things well.

Pau said in Kobe's tribute article that he wants to be in a championship atmosphere again. No chance of him coming here.

I'd take a healthy Pau for 7M over a MAX Horford or Whiteside.
Unfortunately, Pau will be nice until playoff time where he will get injured.

Luke coming here actually BUILDS a atmosphere of winning. Whatever Pau is thinking if he wants to cocktail his way into a free ring, then let him be.

Lakers will have a lot of options to make significant Improvements next year.

Imagine if we had kept Bazemore and had him on a small cap hold this summer. Damn. Instead we have the clown that calls himself Swaggy P.

Imagine we didnt get the #2 draft pick last year.
Imagine we didn't get a chance to get the #1-3 draft pick this year.

Bazemore would not have made a difference. Byron had this team on a roll, taking wise.

With Luke here, I have a feeling we'll offer the max to Barnes and see if GS matches. Maybe Ezeli too though not the max.

If we kept Bazemore, he would be nowhere as good as he is right now at all. He's benefitted a lot this year playing with the Hawks system and being developed by one of the best player developers in the league (who is now the coach of the Nets).

And Bazemore would pretty much be treated like Black and just be benched most of the season with Byron here (or WAS here )

Not the same player my friend. Bazemore 2 years ago was only a role player with limited impact. Someone in Atlanta (Atkinson?) saw the raw tools in him and believed he could develop something. It costed only 2my. And you have now the answer.
Bazemore is the very best example what means player development.
Even without cap increase this year Baze would command more than 10m.

Imagine if Ryan Kelly stopped doing a pump fake at the 3 point line and actually just shot the open 3 when he first catches the ball?
