That would be the ideal situation.

He shouldn't have been standing there.

We're getting whiteside

If we miss out on Durant, I go hard as possible for Barnes. If we miss out there Brandon Rush/Batum + Livingston. And if a good backup C pops up, seize the day

Batum will be gone before Barnes who will be matched for sure.

I was looking for the incident on YouTube and two other occasions popped up where he got ejected for this type of stuff. What's up with him? Is he a knuckle head like Bynum and if so why do we want him? Asking cause I never really watched him enough

A league source claims that the Magic and Hawks have discussed a deal involving Victor Oladipo and Jeff Teague.

From Frank Isola.

Doubt Orlando does that.

From Frank Isola.

Seems odd. What do they do with Payton then?

better that then wasting 22m on noah/biyombo

Not really. Because you're only giving Noah a 1 year deal and biyombo a smaller contract. You go tell the owners that Whiteside has gone Bynum on you and you no want to amnesty him and 40m+ on his deal.

Why do you assume Noah will sign a 1-year deal? He's 30 years old and has a history of injuries. Why would he bet on himself like that?

And if 1 year is all teams are offering, I would think he's going to a contender.

If a team in our situations wants Noah, you gotta pay up.

Because his stock isn't exactly high. He probably would like a rehab year to boost his value and hit the 2017 market again when the cap jumps another 18m. So meanwhile his relative cap hit remains the same his actual $$$ increases thanks to the rising cap. Otherwise I doubt he signs a 3-4 year deal at bottom of the Barrell prices due to this injury riddled season.

The contender angle is a stronger argument. I'll give you that one.

Yeah that's a very weird deal. If I were the Magic, I would try to get Milsap, or Horford at the least.

Batum will likely have to wait for the KD sweepstakes to end. Barnes only becomes available if KD goes to gsw

There's so many teams with money that I doubt Batum will have to wait since he's actually going to be highly sought after himself.
