The burger chef must have moved from Sacramento to Philly. _________________ A proud member of LakersGround.net for over 10 years [since April 28, 2001]

Mutha F! Kobe needs to start bringing his own food. Those opposing teams/fans will stop at nothing to slow him down. _________________ Lakers Gonna Lake |

The burger chef must have moved from Sacramento to Philly. | I bet Peja brought his special Chef with him in the trade...
Well that explains Kobe's subpar (for him) game...
The rest of the guys played tight/nervous knowing Kobe was sick. _________________ 16 and counting.... |

You know Reggie made a crack about LeBron probably was slow on Turkey Day because they may have put something in the food at the Westin(the hotel where visiting teams stay at here in town). I thought he was being funny though... |

Fascinating fact about Peja...
Back in Serbia, before he became a professional basketball player, he worked as a short order cook. |

So how could a guy 6'10" be a short order cook? _________________ -

smh so sad that lakers fans would be attacking another fan. I said nothing wrong. i just noticed after every low fg% game theres an excuse. No ones not saying hes not the best player. even mj had bad nights every player does that was im tired of hearing oh he hurt his pinky oh he has a sore ankle oh hes this or that. those are probably not the excuses that was used. but im just making a point. I've noticed the samething last year also. And i know kobes not the one telling the press its the lakers doing it. but my point is let a bad night be a bad night its not like it happens often. |

As Lucretius, that famous Roman detective once asked --- "Qui bono?" Who stands to gain from Kobe's gastrointestinal distress?
The answer is obvious: the same man who is pals with room service personnel the world over (even graveyard shift staff). The same man who could even sway all minimum-wage workers at fast food establishments within a hundred yard radius of Kobe's location, regardless of the city. The same man who even now, harbor's a Salieri-like rage at the NBA's reigning Mozart and, in the wake of Kobe's 81 point outburst, demands that Kobe be brought down to earth, if only by a rogue bowel. I speak of none other than the Big Nero himself:
Shaqus O'Nealus.

A rogue bowel?
Good stuff SGH
I just blame it on a combination of the Curse of Conseco (Lakers have suffered some horrific, bad losses there) and of course the "Back end of the Back to Back" excuse that I used to blame on Snaq, but now realize is just part of the Lakers modus operandi.
Why are guys like Walton playing tired for crissakes? Was a bad Grateful Dead cover band rocking the Marriott Indianapolis bar the night before the game?
There is nothing wrong with this team that one astute mid level player acquisition and a tighter rotation couldn't fix in a hurry. _________________ Love, Laker Lanny |
