There are some really beautiful places in the world that I will never be able to travel to, unfortunately. There are also some awful places like THAT, that fortunately, I will never step foot in.

Can't imagine being born into that kind of hell.

Group hate is a species-wide phenomenon that predates recorded history.
I am always hopeful, but I fear that it will always be with us.

Just think... the reason they are killing these children in cold blood is just because they want to project a nice image to their guests.

That is worth killing in their eyes.

Authoritarian countries are the ones hosting it because the ordinary people don't have a voice against how their money is spent. In the future I wouldn't be surprised if more and more democratic countries around the world shun hosting the Olympics.

I was prepared to read about something horrible upon clicking the link, but that exceeded my expectations by a fair bit.

IOC are the ones taking the money and the bribes from those authoritarian countries. They are to blame 100%

Sounds very final solutionesque.

Anyway, that article was great but I can't believe it is that bad down there. But I guess it really is.

Bye.

Don't forget these

Quote:
Gang members in Mexico have admitted to massacring 43 students who went missing in September after the local mayor demanded they be 'taught a lesson' so they didn't interrupt a speech by his wife.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2826180/Mexican-gang-members-admit-burning-alive-43-students-massacred-local-mayor-s-wife-demanded-dealt-not-protest-speech.html

And this

Quote:
A Bangladeshi blogger known for his atheist views has been hacked to death by a gang armed with machetes in the capital Dhaka, police say.

Niloy Neel was attacked at his home in the city's Goran area.

He is the fourth secularist blogger to have been killed this year by suspected Islamist militants in Bangladesh.

Imran H Sarkar, head of the Bangladesh Blogger and Activist Network, told the BBC that Mr Neel had been an anti-extremist voice of reason.

"He was the voice against fundamentalism and extremism and was even a voice for minority rights - especially women's rights and the rights of indigenous people," he said.
