Who do you guys think will make the 12-13 man final roster. And what would your rotation look like?

Starters from the last Olympics will remain starters I believe. CP3, Durant and LeBron. I think Coach K has only broken that rule when he sent Melo to the bench for Durant. I predict Klay Thompson will take over Kobe's position at SG. I don't know about the C spot. It's between Davis, DeAndre and Dwight.

PG: CP3/Curry
SG: Klay/Westbrook/Harden
SF: Durant/Melo
PF: LeBron/Davis
C: Dwight/DeAndre

Kwi might take over the Iggy role.

Wildcards for me are Cousins, George and Irving. Cousins has the potential to be best player for the C spot if he comes motivated.

SG/SF spots are loaded. I had Blake on the team and then took him off. But thinking about it more, I think he might make it. I don't see him as a great fit, though.

Isn't there another nine or ten months of NBA training camps, pre-season, regular season, and playoffs before USA Basketball starts whittling down their ranks for something even close to a realistic lineup evaluation ? Suggest we not spin our wheel now on this.

The minicamp is just orientation.

I'm waiting until next June. The real candidate pool shows up at Coach K's gym door then, after the injured prominent starters and reserves drop.

You don't have Davis starting? I put Curry over cp3.

Kawhi should make it because of his defensive versatility.

anyway, I hope USA loses if Lebron is playing and Kobe isn't, that would be so fun to watch.

These camps are where top players conspire to team up, etc. sad we don't have any guys there to recruit when we will have space for 2 max deals in a year.

I'd put Davis over Dwight at C. In international play, Davis is a Center.

I think Cousins makes it over DeAndre. He was very good for Team USA last year. I think Kawhi makes it too, for the reason that you mentioned. I think Davis/Cousins should be the C rotation, FWIW.

I'd love to see what a Curry/Klay/Durant/LeBron/Davis lineup could do. Good Lord.

That was the lineup I was going to write about but it didn't have any lakers in it which made me sad
