Just sad. Lamar, you kinda had to know what dealing with the Kardashians aka media/attention whores meant. Love you dude, but this is what the Kardashians want and covet. The best thing you can do, is distance yourself as far as possible from Khloe as possible.

Ok... That was crazy I was in the middle of reading and had just watched part of the first vid and when I came back to get the link to the 2nd the whole thread had disappeared Ankywhoo I found it on the TMZ site. Oh Lamar...
Even though the Heat traded him first Lamar has been through a lot but his failure to understand that the NBA is a business was what did him in. He took the botched trade to New Orleans too personal. He took playing in the NBA for granted now he knows how precious it is to be playing the game that has given him so much. TMZ is not the reason why he is not in the NBA right now. The sooner Lamar comes to grip with that, the sooner he will be able to get his life back on track. _________________ My Dream Starting 5 next Season

I think you make some valid points, but he's been looking for a family his whole life. His mom died when he was young and his dad abandoned him. He thought he finally had people who cared for him with the Lakers. He gave his all to the team -- was an integral part of winning us 2 championships. They asked him to give up his starting spot and, instead of pouting, he responded by winning Sixth Man of the Year. After all that, they threw him away at the first chance they got. I think I remember him saying that he didn't even get a phone call....he heard about the trade on ESPN. It might seem silly to us, with all the money he's made, but I think that cut him to the core. Abandoned again. He never really recovered after that.
I feel bad for Lamar. His life did spiral out of control, and now he's just lacks the common sense to distance himself from the rancid, self-serving, morally-bankrupt family of whores. I'm sure he was set-up like a sacrificial pawn, for the sole purpose of keeping the Klan in the news and keeping fools glued to their TV show.
You know it is almost an inevitability, the question is when.
The only potential upside I saw to Lamar marrying into the rancid family was that maybe his finances would be somewhat protected, and he'd have a revenue stream to boot. Unfortunately it didn't work out. Lamar cannot take care of himself, and I doubt he had the protection of a strong prenup.

I wonder if James Harden watches TMZ.
He could be the next victim.
And he just got that Adidas deal. _________________ "Every hurt is a lesson, and every lesson makes you better”

That horrible trade ruined everything. Lamar was never the same after that, and it was a slippery slope between greatness and mediocrity for him. A fine line that Phil walked for many years any slowly brought him along until he was a sixth man of the year, and one of the Lakers biggest assets.
The trade (and his own personal choices) ruined everything. Lamar could have stayed, but demanded a trade that the Lakers seemed all too eager to grant, and the Lakers lost a critical piece of their core that might have given them the edge they needed to get past OKC in the second round that year.
His involvement with that family is just added insult to injury. It just helped to accelerate the downward spiral.
Just once... I wish a sports writer like Bill Simmons can make a tirade video about the verbal and mental abuse he gets from laker fans I would feel no sympathy for that man HAHAHA

A change of scenery and a good therapist would do Lamar good.
Man I miss Odom, sad to see him going through this. I remember watching the Lakers Association documentary and seeing how happy he was with Khloe and I knew she would do this. The dude has a good heart but he's kind of naive and wears his heart on his shoulder.
Odom was one of my fave Lakers, demons and all. Miss the guy and hope he gets his life together. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals

No Odom. No rings.
Absolutely.
Pau/Odom was a dream pairing. Lamar was also so important in the lockerroom too. Just sad to see his life play out like this. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals
