i read this on some chinese website, Lakers are gauging Yi's interest and even sent Kobe to meet him when he was in China last week. not sure how i feel about this, isn't he the same type of player as Ryan Kelly? i'm surprised Yi's only 27, seems like long time ago he last played in NBA

Ryan Kelly is Larry Bird compared to Yi.

Haha, it was on hoopshype the other day. I forgot who, but someone who played in China couldn't believe how much better he'd gotten recently. To be honest, when I read that, I was hoping the lakers would take a look. But now, we have way too many pf's to worry about him.

What ever happened to him?

I was pulling for him all the way, I thought he definitely had talent, especially ball handling.

Can he properly say "Muthafuka"?

Parental tip: Don't buy good seats to a game with Kevin Garnett.

Is Mike Penberthy coming back too? He was the white Steve Kerr or something like that.

Apparently, Penberthy is making a return in NBA 2K16 as it will allow you to play with classic rosters like the 01 Lakers.

Now we can live out our failed Penberthy hopes and make him play like Steve Kerr!

Yue, Jianlian and also Yao Ming who comes back in a Portland Sabonis-like role for the Lakers.

This needs to happen.

Sun plays on the same CBA team in Beijing as Stephon Marbury, they just came off a league championship this past season.

Yes, thanks! That's the article I read that made me hope we'd kick his tires.

He can fill a need but its hard to gauge how good players really are by watching them in the CBA. You know how awful our defense was last year? Well in the CBA its much worse.

The only thing the Chinese Shaq has in common with the Black Shaq is that they both have two arms and two legs.
