Having become a devoted fan of Tori Amos' music in 1993, (particularly the song "Winter" from the Little Earthquakes album),[29] and following a meeting with Amos at the 2008 San Diego Comic Con, Foley became involved with the assault, Abuse & Incest National Network (RAINN), a group Amos co-founded in 1994. Since then, he has worked as a volunteer on their online hotline and as a member of their National Leadership Council. During a 15-month period ending in April 2011, Foley logged more than 550 hours talking to victims online.

And here's his daugher to boot:

One of my favorite is Rock throwing Austin off the bridge. That is iconic scene.

Macho vs Steamboat in WM3.

Rock and Stone Cold feuds.

Pretty solid back then.

Snoooka as Jesse used to call him. It's at the point when I hear about a WWF era death, I'm surprised they were still alive to begin with. RIP.

Pacific Islander genetics alone is usually enough to get it done. Throw in some dbol and injections and you'll create an absolute monster.

And prayers and vitamins, of course. You left those vitals out, Dladi, but I figure you thought they went without saying.

The Rock: "Now on to 'Badd Ass' Billy Gunn. The Rock understands what took place. The night you won King of the Ring, you got down on your knees, put your little hands together and said a prayer, and it sounded like this: 'Oh Dear God, you see, my name's Billy. And I just won King of the Ring. But there's just one problem: everyone still thinks that I ABSOLUTELY SUCK!'

And then at that point, Billy, your house started to shake, the heavens opened up and God Himself spoke to you and said: 'Bob...' 'But my name's Billy...' 'IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR NAME IS! You are absolutely right. You do suck. But there is one thing and one thing only that you can do. You must go find the man that is simply electrifying. You must go find The Rock.'

'Oh but God, anybody but the Ro..' 'KNOW YOUR ROLE AND SHUT YOUR MOUTH!' And then as fear went through your body, tears went down your cheek and piss rolled down your leg, your house started to shake again, the clouds parted and the heavens opened. And what seemed like millions... of voices said to you in unison, jabronie, 'If ya smelllll what the Rock... is cookin'!"

I think they're actually the last two 80s era guys who've died.

Here's the morbid Mickey Rourke behind the scenes stuff:

I met Rowdy Roddy Piper backstage after a local independent promotion event. He was extremely cool to meet and took the time to chill with all of us. Even cooler was he did the event for free.

Look at this, this is REAL. The Hart bros helping each other psychologically. The Anvil going thru LOTS of stuff, give him some space.

This was a shocker. I'm sure I yelled, "You can't be with him!" along with Hogan at that moment.

Man, the mic skills in the 2nd clip. I tried watching some WWE with the nephews recently and they can't hold a candle.

George "The Animal" Steele has passed away. At least he made it to 79 years old, which seems pretty long for a wrestler. I'm old enough to remember him assaulting the WWF...and turnbuckles. RIP.

Damn!
I remember when I was 5 or 6 my older cousins would tell me that he is eating the turnbuckle. I actually believed he was tearing into it, eating and digesting it. White cotton crap all over the place. RIP GEORGEYBOY!

I remember watching this as a kid when it aired. It was unreal!

Here's a piece of a Jake Roberts shoot interview when he talks about this incident. It's very entertaining hearing about the feud and the behind the scenes of how it transpired:
